“I've been coming here for 40 years always get my pizza made in the old oven. Today the cashier stood there and basically argued with two sets not just one of customers on how there is no difference between the old oven and the new conveyor style oven. There is a difference in both taste and texture. Because of this she lost the restaurant a good size sale.“

“Of all the wonderful restaurants in Biddeford, this is our favorite! Friendly service, great and varied menu, cozy atmosphere, and we enjoy the Indian artwork on the tables and on the walls! Large portions mean we always get to take home enough for a second meal!“

“Great menu, great food, (They bake those muffins every day and they are devine!) great service. There is indoor and outdoor seating, so we are able to take our pup. The wait can be long on weekend summer mornings (10-15 minutes) but we used our time at the next door dog park while waiting. Unique local specials (Lobsters, blueberries, and crabs, Oh my!) and delicious coffee and teas. Try their blood orange juice freshly squeezed! You will not be sorry!“

I have to share this little story with you ,a dismal start to our vacation week, A normal 3 hour drive turned into a five hour one,then I had issues with my oxygen machine,which turned into waiting for a servicemen to come from two hours away.So we are looking at 9 o’clock at night before he would come, now we haven’t eaten since morning and now it’s past 7:30. We knew since Covid hit most eateries are open limited hours, we called Stutesy’s Pub & Grill they said come on down even though they were already shutting down for 8 o’clock. That they will take care of us,not only was Stacie a gracious host her husband cooked us a wonderful meal and even made two more meals to go for our two sons,who were coming laterThey won over our hearts and our taste buds so you’ve got to give Stutesy’s a try for sure!!“

“Kennebunk is not exactly known for creative dishes. Its catering to an older crowd that doesn't do much seasoning and typically wants seafood in the summer. So...it might be hard to believe, but some of the most interesting, creative and delicious food in Kennebunk (and Kennebunkport for that matter) is to be had at the local bowling alley, Garden Bowl and its restaurant, Crotux.

Their menu on its surface is simple american- appetizers, sandwiches, fries, poutine, flatbreads, some mains, but on closer inspection all these dishes are a dial different. Pork belly and fried feta on the appetizer menu. Sides like hot honey kimchi, sandwiches like spanokopita melt (absolutely delicous), spiced chopped cheese with ground lamb, pulled pork with creative, ethnically influenced toppings. And a set of mains that would please many foodies with unique items like Hunters Veggie pie and miso glazed Hangar Stake.

I'm not a fan of flatbreads but there are a few things on the menu I return to: the burgers are the best in the area, the sherried mushroom risotto is ridiculously delicious, and the Hunters Pile is probably my favorite veggie dish in the world. I don't eat chorizo but my hubby loves the roasted delicata squash. We simply haven't had a bad meal here.

The only bummer is the fact that it is in a bowling alley and the area is completely open to it means it is really difficult to have a conversation. People talk loud to get over the noise, so that just exacerbates things. You get to hear conversations you never really wanted to.

But all in all, its some of my favorite food in the area that makes it worth dealing with the sound of strikes and spares.“

“Birthday dinner in an ice shack in January — definitely a first, and a great experience.

I’ll be honest, I was a little confused at first because it was something totally new, but once we settled in, it turned into a really fun and memorable experience.

The atmosphere was cozy, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious from start to finish. As a local Realtor, I’m always telling people that it’s places like this that make living and spending time in Kennebunkport so special — especially in the winter.

Definitely a unique experience and one I’d recommend if you’re looking for something a little different.

“We stopped at Mikes for Breakfast as we met up with some friends. It was a buzy place and the waiter was great. Our Meal had some issues with delivery of what we ordered is not what we got. We were told that they had some new staff training in the kitchen and should of had someone overseeing them before the food left the kitchen. For the price that they charge should of been delivered a little different than what we got.“

“This is a hidden gem and I’m so grateful to have found it. I got the Monstah Lobstah roll and it certainly lived up to its name. It was so big that I was able to bring half home to eat at a later time. We will definitely be back and hopefully Caitlin will be our waitress again… a super nice young lady. “Always the best food and customer service in town. We have been going to 50 local for years, it continues to be a family favorite. Have to share because it made such a hard evening just a little easier. A few weeks ago we lost our dog Scout very tragically. I called in an order to go and whn I went in to pick it up the hostess immediately knew something was wrong. She asked if I was alright and I instantly broke down.. I told her what had just happened. She then proceeded to give me two desserts, gave me a big hug and, told me they were on the house. It wasn’t about the desserts (they were fantastic as always) it was more the kindness, support and, sympathy that she showed us that evening. From the bottom of our hearts we appreciate you all so much.“

“My family and I have been eating at Mekhong Thai Kennebunk since 1992. due to the nature of my employment, I have had the opportunity to not only taste the cuisines of Thai restaurants across the United States, but I’ve also had the pleasure of eating at Thai restaurants across Thailand. In my hundreds of dining adventures, there is no restaurant comparable to my Mekhong Thai Kennebunk. The staff are warm and friendly and the food is impeccable. I checked, and the new owners are actually family of the previous owners. The menu has been relatively unchanged, and I actually feel it has been improved. “absolutely the worst customer service. told it would be ready for 945 at 1000 was told it was given to another customer. while wait there other individual went up 10-15 mins after then proposed time and were told it would be another 10 mins definitely not going back“
