“Our Garden Suite was awesome! Super comfortable and well appointed, awesome soaking tub, the nicest robes, great views and quick walk to the beach. Loved how dog friendly it is. Dog bowls, dog blanket, dog towel, ball, poopie bags and a giant biscuit greeted our pup. Dogs are even allowed in the tavern. Hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby at night. Chocolates in the room. Free use of the steam room and experience shower in the spa for guests. Staff is great! That’s just to name a few things that makes the Inn by the Sea great! We can’t wait to go back!“

“We've been here about a half dozen times over the last few years and are always surprised that it's even better than we remembered. The grilled octopus appetizer is an absolute must order. I almost always get blackened tuna, rare. Even when it is not on the menu, they are happy to do it. The rice pudding is also amazing. Even given the many good options in Portland, a visit to Street and Co is essential on any trip there.“

“Best food I ate in Portland all week (including upscale places) was the lobster bisque from Chef Ryan. Oysters were GREAT as well. Family friendly. Chef Ryan’s whole menu was top notch and the kitchen staff was so nice. Ty came up and offered to give my young kids a lobster lesson over FaceTime (was here for work). Lizzy was excellent at the bar for our group. Ashley was amazing and welcoming to our group. Couldn’t recommend more. But def order the menu items and not just the lobster!“

“We had an amazing experience on the Lucky Catch Lobstering Cruise in Portland, Maine! The crew made everything so fun and educational. We got hands on experience checking lobster traps, baiting them, and learning all about lobsters and the local lobster industry. The boat itself was comfortable and offered great views of the harbor, and the crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and full of interesting stories. “My Experience with the Porthole The Service was great and quick, but I had taken a picture of the haddock sandwich before I started eating and you can visibly see a hair coming out of the sandwich, and I know it wasn't mine because it was in between the fish and the roll.“

“Walked into the Portland location at 7:57 on a Saturday when they close at 8:00 and they graciously served me, even though it was clear they had finished cleaning up for the night. I am a regular at the Scarborough commissary throughout the summer and this was my first time visiting the Portland location. The staff all said hello to me with a smile and conversation and had no problem packing a few rolls for me to go! Great staff and always consistent food!“
