“We have been coming to stay in a cabin in Phippsburg for years, and I knew there had to be a way to get fresh, local seafood at a reasonable price. Now I know where! The sisters will steam lobsters for about half what we'd pay in a restaurant, and then you go pick them up and bring them home. They also have other merchandise available, including crackers and pickers and hats. But WOW was it good lobster, and at a price I'm very happy to pay. I'm sure we'll be back before we go home again. Along the way to their house is a little farmstand that has everything else you need for a lobster dinner. They will also sell them live, but I am way too squeamish for that!“
“A couple of weeks ago I rated Spinneys a 2 that was because they were closed OFF SEASON and we had dipped in the ocean out front. Let me say that I eat at Spinneys during the summer. I have eaten there as long as I can remember and it has always been great place to go.“
“The clam hunter is by far the best oysters. Steamers were great good times made a good friend of mine eat 120 oysters 10 pounds of steamers farted up a storm, but it was good good times won’t be disappointed!!!!!!!!! Friendly as well, down Maine“
