“My husband and I went to Anna’s in early July. As Mainers we have had a lot of seafood at different places, but they had the best seafood platter I’ve ever had before. Even better, topped it off with homemade blueberry crumble. This place is a little slice of heaven .“

“The Pine family are amazing hosts. They have updated all the rooms beautifully. At Spinney's you have a warm family atmosphere and great service. The continental breakfast at the guesthouse is very convenient, and meals at the restaurant are top notch. The seafood options are my favorite, but for my husband who doesn't like seafood, the burger option was a favorite. The beach is beautiful and access is right on the property across the parking lot. Waking up to and ocean sunrise is the ultimate vacation experience.“

“Key lime pie.

Do not skip the key lime pie. Best I've had in my life. It's light almost like chiffon pie, crust is solid, flakey with a hint of salt as all good pie crusts should, whipped cream topping and toasted coconut flakes 20/10. (My only comment is I would ditch the mini marshmallows that populate the top. However, I was told that a sweet older lady down the street makes these pies, and as it is the best pie I've had in ages, she gets a pass for the marshmallows)

We ordered fish tacos which were pretty decent if a little overcooked (fish). The crab cakes were exceptional.“

“This resort is so fun! We spent the weekend there for a wedding! It was like living in a movie! Just gorgeous and the staff was so happy and accommodating! “We are visiting from out of state and our hotel recommended this spot for pizza. We arrived around 4:30 and had our pick of tables and chose a street side window. We each ordered a speciality margarita and I requested a change to it and it was excellent, only wish I’d added a salt rim. I asked about happy hour specials and we got the fried pickles that were very plentiful and VERY good. We asked about doing a half and half pizza as we NEVER agree on what we want and after asking the “pizza chef” they agreed it would be okay, yay! A perfectly cooked pizza arrived quickly and honestly, we both enjoyed it SO much! Crispy crust, warm sauce, flavorful toppings and just the right “heat” for hubby. Our waitress Elli was great and I want to thank her for asking about our special requests. We come this way a couple times a year and will be back.“

“I went to Peppers Landing at 11:30 for lunch and ordered the Brunswick lobster roll. The roll was tough and dry and I asked the server when this was cooked. They could only tell me it's reheated on the grill. This was The worst lobster roll I have ever had. The restaurant manager was gracious enough to give me a whopping $5 discount for the food. This meal was 30.00 including fries and Cole slaw. I will never go back.“
