“Flavorful, upbeat and great service. Had a reservation at the bar and was happy to see how quickly and meticulously the staff worked and how kindly the Chef treated his staff.
The cobb salad left a lasting impression on me. It even inspired me to recreate it at home a few days later. The bone marrow toast was like a French onion soup on bread but better! Suckling pig and foie gras were ok. Wish I could of stayed longer and tried more dishes but had to run to another reservation. I will definitely be back.“

“Oh how lucky we were! Our first choice for dining fell through, closed when claimed to be open. Oh well, our son happened to see the folks dining here through the window and popped in, they could take the three of us right now. Wife and I had to hustle from several blocks away. Having walked in with zero expectations, we were surprised to see how full and vibrant the place felt. Our server was fantastic and walked us through several of the menu options. “My partner and I celebrated my 50th and our 30 year anniversary there. They had a special table set for us. The food, drink and atmosphere was amazing. Their was a surprise birthday cake for me made by Ilma. Such a memorable experience. “My husband and I had lunch here before an appointment nearby. This restaurant had delicious food. My husband ordered the Down east Ruben, which was made with deep fried haddock with Cole slaw piled high on the bun with melted cheese. He said it was delicious! I opted for the classic BLT. Again, the sandwich was delicious. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and ample bacon was piled on top. I watched a young man bus the tables. He was extremely thorough cleaning the tables and seating. He even washed the items on the table (salt & pepper shakers, ketchup and hot sauce bottles). This young man then set the tables for new customers. Being a bit of a clean freak, I appreciated this young man's work. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.“

“Had the pleasure of stopping in at Quiero before a flight out of Portland for Lunch.

Honestly what a gem, the empanadas are top tier! I was blown away by the Puerco but both the Pollo and Dulce were incredible! You can tell how fresh and ready to order all of the food is, and made with great ingredients. Highly recommend!“

“Best food I ate in Portland all week (including upscale places) was the lobster bisque from Chef Ryan. Oysters were GREAT as well. Family friendly. Chef Ryan’s whole menu was top notch and the kitchen staff was so nice. Ty came up and offered to give my young kids a lobster lesson over FaceTime (was here for work). Lizzy was excellent at the bar for our group. Ashley was amazing and welcoming to our group. Couldn’t recommend more. But def order the menu items and not just the lobster!“
