My partner and I celebrated my 50th and our 30 year anniversary there. They had a special table set for us. The food, drink and atmosphere was amazing. Their was a surprise birthday cake for me made by Ilma. Such a memorable experience. Only complaint is that there should've been like 30 of those deviled eggs....lol

Chaval Maine is a fantastic restaurant all around. The food is awesome and delicious, with brilliant dishes like chicken and biscuits, monkfish, white asparagus app, gougeres, blood orange granita with white asparagus ice cream and caviar, whole mackerel special, and coq au vin. The service is perfect, with staff who are very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The environment is relaxed and intimate, making it a favorite spot to take someone to be absolutely wowed. Chaval offers a whole different dimension with their use of Spanish spices and French culinary skills. The owners and staff are awesome people, always kind and helpful. It is one of the few places that does as good a job with vegetarian dishes as with meat dishes. The food feels elevated yet effortless, prepared with intention and consistency. The wine pairing, cocktails, and mocktails are superb, and the bar program is thoughtful. It is easy to stop in for a beautifully made drink or settle in for a memorable date night.
