“Absolutely worth the wait in line if you are into bread and pastry. We got a marinated olive loaf, croissant, and frangipane tart (which had delicious in-season plums on top). We’re going to go again before our long weekend in Portland is over.“

“Hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. We ordered th toastadas and salsas, added guacamole, the mushroom enchiladas, the hibiscus pineapple lime tonic mocktail, and ended with goat cheese flan. Every bite was a unique flavor bomb!“

“Rarely do I leave a review, but this place is outstanding and definitely deserves the hype! So good we returned for a second time over the course of our long weekend stay. First of all, the vibes inside this cute little café are immaculate. All the staff were warm, inviting (both times we went) and very attentive to provide a great dining experience. But let’s get to the best part, which is truly the food (the Como se dice Bon Giorno sandwich to be specific). The English muffins are made in house, and you can tell the difference! They take their delicious baked staples and curate them for the holiday/season. Is it a little pricier? Sure but nothing unexpected for dining in the Portland area, and the quality most certainly justifies the price. I highly recommend and definitely plan to return on following trips, as this is our new staple for breakfast in the Portland area!“

“Absolutely amazing food! Everything came out at different times, which I know can seem stressful, but trust the process! Waiting an hour and ten minutes, but so glad I waiting. Couldn’t ask for better food all around. Our server Al was personable and professional, a total pro at his craft. Can’t wait to come back again!“

“It’s my dad’s and my go-to lunch spot, especially after Sunday morning church. Since he can’t hear from his left ear due to surgery, noisy places are hard for him to tolerate. El Rayo is perfect because it has a calm, comfortable atmosphere.“

“We had a wonderful meal with Courtney as our server! I have Celiac and I was thrilled to eat a GF calzone for the first time EVER! Our group of 5 had a mix of regular and gluten free items including pizza, pasta and calzone. Everyone gave their meal a solid 5. The service was excellent! Courtney was attentive from the start and engaged with the youngest to the oldest. Highly recommend Portland Pie - great service and great meal!“

“This place is all right. They have a handful of different vendors and food places and there's a dining space upstairs. You would think this place would be packed and there'd be a whole bunch. More people in the weekends but always seems to be quiet and not all the vendors seem to be open at the same time.“

“Ordered for my first time yesterday. So thankful for another gluten free option in Portland. The orange chicken might be the best I’ve ever had (GF and non). Beef teriyaki also very good. Will be coming back!“

“If we’re being honest, moving to a new city comes with one very important question: where’s the go-to pizza spot? After one visit to OTTO Pizza in downtown Portland, I can confidently say, we’ve already found ours.
This may genuinely be some of the best pizza we’ve ever had. The seasonal pie right now is absolutely phenomenal. You can tell they don’t just make pizza here, they craft it.
What truly made the experience memorable though was the service. Cat, our waitress, was incredible. Warm, attentive, and thoughtful. She offered great recommendations and made us feel so genuinely welcomed to OTTO and Portland. That kind of hospitality makes a lasting impression.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice (which is a great deal, by the way) or sitting down to share a full pie, OTTO strikes that rare balance. It feels like an elevated version of your favorite childhood pizzeria, comforting, nostalgic, but undeniably high quality.
Safe to say, we’re completely spoiled now. This will absolutely be a regular spot for us, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.“
