They worked with me to deliver a knock- out Bundt cake that satisfied the restrictions. Everyone loved it. I highly recommend Bam Bam Bakery!“

“I've heard so much about this bakery, and was excited to visit. I lucked out as it was not too long of a line, and the bakery was still fully stocked at 10 am. It was hard to make a decision as everything looked so good, but I settled on a chocolate croissant, morning bun with walnuts, and a chocolate brownie. The chocolate croissant was airy but barely had any chocolate in it, so that was disappointing. Had I known that would be the case I would've purchased one of their regular croissants instead as they looked really good. The morning bun was a little overdone in my opinion as the edges were a little burnt. I tried it at room temperature and it was just okay, but I ended up heating it up and that is what it needed as it was really good when warm. The brownie is the star of the show (and the reason the bakery got four stars instead of three overall). The brownie was super fudgy, exactly how you want the perfect brownie to be!! Service was just okay, the person helping me wasn't very personable and just handed me the bag and walked away without saying anything.“

“Loved the food and atmosphere. The empanadas were fantastic and not too heavy. Sweet fried plantains always hit the spot. The only thing I don't like is the counter service model where you have to tip before you have received any service. Luckily, service was great!“

“Went in today for the first time and food was amazing! Ordered a latte and the girl that took my order wasn’t the friendliest. I last minute decided I wanted a latte, and asked for it to be made with oatmilk she seemed annoyed and said it comes with oatmilk with an attitude. There is no info stating that the latte comes with oatmilk so not sure how I was supposed to know that. The guy who made my drink was extremely friendly and when my food order was ready the cooks were also super friendly! Great food and latte, will be back for sure!“

“Rarely do I leave a review, but this place is outstanding and definitely deserves the hype! So good we returned for a second time over the course of our long weekend stay. First of all, the vibes inside this cute little café are immaculate. All the staff were warm, inviting (both times we went) and very attentive to provide a great dining experience. But let’s get to the best part, which is truly the food (the Como se dice Bon Giorno sandwich to be specific). The English muffins are made in house, and you can tell the difference! They take their delicious baked staples and curate them for the holiday/season. Is it a little pricier? Sure but nothing unexpected for dining in the Portland area, and the quality most certainly justifies the price. I highly recommend and definitely plan to return on following trips, as this is our new staple for breakfast in the Portland area!“

“Our family had an amazing time at Gather last Friday. Krista was great to work with and helped organize a reservation for our party of 19 people. She was very accommodating and quick to respond to any requests. The spot is beautiful and the food was delicious. I think our group tried almost everything on the menu and everyone was very impressed. The food, drinks and atmosphere were all perfect. I would highly recommend for a date night or a private event. “The food here is consistently excellent and the service is solid. Mostly we eat in the regular dining room not the Hibachi side but have dined in both. Sushi is amazing quality and top notch. Goyoza is the best I have had anywhere. From the outside it may not look like much but trust me it is really great every time we go and we dine there a lot.“

I ordered the mushroom sacchetti and the sauce was full of long strips of onion. They seemed very out of place like they didn't belong in the recipe. They weren't fully cooked, it was all you could smell and all you could taste. It totally overpowered the mushroom and sacchetti. I kind of wondered if the chef was new and accidentally added them. “If we’re being honest, moving to a new city comes with one very important question: where’s the go-to pizza spot? After one visit to OTTO Pizza in downtown Portland, I can confidently say, we’ve already found ours.

This may genuinely be some of the best pizza we’ve ever had. The seasonal pie right now is absolutely phenomenal. You can tell they don’t just make pizza here, they craft it.

What truly made the experience memorable though was the service. Cat, our waitress, was incredible. Warm, attentive, and thoughtful. She offered great recommendations and made us feel so genuinely welcomed to OTTO and Portland. That kind of hospitality makes a lasting impression.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice (which is a great deal, by the way) or sitting down to share a full pie, OTTO strikes that rare balance. It feels like an elevated version of your favorite childhood pizzeria, comforting, nostalgic, but undeniably high quality.

“We ordered food to go, this was one of the only restaurants still open late at night so we tried it. The pizza was absolutely delicious bust super expensive, $30 for a large. We ordered boneless wings but they gave us bone in wings, not what we wanted but they were good.“
