“Absolutely worth the wait in line if you are into bread and pastry. We got a marinated olive loaf, croissant, and frangipane tart (which had delicious in-season plums on top). We’re going to go again before our long weekend in Portland is over.“

“Not super impressed. Showed up an hour and a half after they opened and seemed like everything was mostly gone. Almond croissant was quite good but the scone was dry and bland. Coffee was not good. Couple benches outside for seating but nothing inside.
Would’ve liked to try some of their savory options and I’m sure their loaves are great but didn’t get the chance to try. Seems like you have to get there really early to get the good stuff!“

“Our family visited this bakery on our Portland vacation as we were staying in the neighborhood. It was lovely - we got a few cookies, croissants, and a chocolate cake…all delicious. The staff was helpful and patient…wish we lived closer to frequent more often!“

“I was not about to leave Portland and forget to shout out this donut shop. Super cute, cozy atmosphere and will be on my list to visit each year I make it back to Portland. I will completely forget about that other donut shop 😂
Just the right size for a sweet treat. Loved the flavors! The fruity pebble one is SO good and the cookies and cream comes in second place. 10/10, MUST recommend!!!“

“Never had anything here that wasn’t delicious! Extremely talented pastry chef makes scrumptious treats right out of a Paris bakery window. You won’t find better, authentic, flaky croissants anywhere. A must visit for serious pastry fans! Can’t wait for the reopen!“
“Love coming here for coffee and pastries with my friends. Now they send me photos of them going by themselves or with their loved ones 😌 Onggi makes Portland a better place!“
“Delicious caramel pecan praline bun: multi-textured and not too heavy, despite the ample size. Great customer service to boot, super friendly! Perfect treat after walking the back cove! And supporting a great cause— win, win!“

“Amazing cakes! This was my first time ordering from Two Fat Cats. I ordered a chocolate chocolate cake for my son’s birthday and everyone was really impressed! Flavorful and perfectly sweet (but not too sweet) frosting and dense, melt in your mouth cake. Highly recommend!“
“This is a great little place to stop if you want to stock up on snack foods and bread at very affordable pricing. Last stop by there I purchased some keto bread for $1.75 a loaf if you bought that at the bakery in the supermarkets it would be close to $7 a loaf.“

“My husband, MIL, and myself were visiting Maine all the way from NC and came here TWICE during our visit. First was brunch, then dinner. Both meals were exceptional. Our waitress(I wish I could remember her name, but she has long, red hair), gave the best service I have ever experienced in my life! This will definitely be a spot we must visit everytime we come up ❤️“

“Rarely do I leave a review, but this place is outstanding and definitely deserves the hype! So good we returned for a second time over the course of our long weekend stay. First of all, the vibes inside this cute little café are immaculate. All the staff were warm, inviting (both times we went) and very attentive to provide a great dining experience. But let’s get to the best part, which is truly the food (the Como se dice Bon Giorno sandwich to be specific). The English muffins are made in house, and you can tell the difference! They take their delicious baked staples and curate them for the holiday/season. Is it a little pricier? Sure but nothing unexpected for dining in the Portland area, and the quality most certainly justifies the price. I highly recommend and definitely plan to return on following trips, as this is our new staple for breakfast in the Portland area!“

“We just had the best falafel wraps here, better than any we've had in the greater Portland area! Delicious and a great price! We'll be back for sure, and will try their homemade hummus, naan, and some of the dishes in the cooler on your way in.“

“I have been going to this location for years. The staff are always so friendly and nice. Recently I have been going and there is a girl working with long braids and she unfortunately is not friendly. I have never met an unfriendly girl at aromas until now. She may want to work at the Dunkin locations with the other rude employees.“

“I expected great coffee and got it, but the biscuits and scones were delicious- even better than my own homemade.“
