The food and service were exceptional! Highly recommended.
Great service, excellent food. Head on shrimp appetizer was great. The fresh pasta dish was very good. Halibut entree was light fresh and very filling but a tad rich on the sauce. Our server was friendly cheerful and very helpful. Will definitely visit again when able.
Wayside Tavern is such a cozy Portland restaurant and feels almost like you stumbled into a neighborhood spot that wasn’t supposed to be a destination. The atmosphere is warm, the menu feels thoughtful, and it’s a great place to settle in with some food and wine without rushing through dinner. Definitely one of the better options if you want something quieter and a little more intimate.
