“Just finished one of the BEST Italian meals ive ever had in my restaurant going life in a place id never have expected to and thats saying something being a 1st Generation Italian coming from NY ! ViA VECCHiA is Portland, Maine was absolutely 10/10 on everything they did! We started with Meatballs, Whipped Ricotta & Grilled Octopus. The meatballs reminded me of my mothers, the ricotta was tremendous with truffle honey & sesame breadsticks and the octopus was grilled perfectly. One dish was better than the next. We shared ravioli with as an entree and we never felt gross like we ate too much. The portion sizes were PERFECT. Wrapped the night off with a espresso infused cheesecake over salted caramel. Wow. Staff was incredibly accommodating, professional and polite. Service was excellent! If youre ever in Portland, ME you must go get a meal here!“

“Finally made it back to Leeward after a couple of years, and it’s just as delicious and incredible as I remember it. This time my husband and I brought a friend with us, which meant more sharing and trying a lot more of the menu.

We started with the kale salad and the gnudi pasta, with the latter being the star of the night. The kale salad was delicious, incredibly light and refreshing. We accompanied these with some aperitifs from the never-ending and impressive cocktail menu. The gnudi pasta was listed as a main, but it made for an incredible app.

For dinner, I ordered the tagliatelle, which was divine. My friend’s rigatoni may have been the best out of all of the entrees, though. It was phenomenal. We finished our meal with dessert. It was this almond and fruit cake that was delish, although the dessert menu was a bit limited for what I expected.

As always, the ambiance is just lovely. The dimly lit vibes make for a romantic and cozy time, especially during the winter. Our server was thoughtful and attentive and had great wine recs!“

“If I had those stars to give, I would give Ribollita at least 1 star: It was just that good! ⭐️⭐️ The chef makes his own pasta. The dishes are perfectly done. The sauces are perfectly prepared. When I asked if the chef could add a garnish of pine nuts to the Fettuccine Alfredo and spinach, he obliged me and toasted them perfectly. You will be glad you had dinner at Ribollita's when you visit this restaurant!“

“Came here the other day for the cheese steak and boy was I not disappointed! Definitely the best one ive ever had! Bartender was chill and the the place was exactly my kinda vibe. Will definitely be back again for that cheese steak and to try the pretzel garlic knots!“

“lived next door back when ownership was changing and moved before seeing how it’s changed. i was worried the shop would lose it’s charm, but that had been put to rest! great selection of stuff that’s in touch with the neighborhood, delicious and quick food, and the place is so much cleaner. customer service is top notch. wish i still lived nearby!“

“The food is pretty decent but the lady who works here is sooooo miserable. She is probably in her 40’s and sooooo rude to everyone. She makes comments, and says things under her breath every single time. I never have seen her smile, her energy is so draining to even encounter with. She’s also rude to other younger employees.“

Ihad herd many negative comments about the pizzas atthe ball field. So i went straightto order at Portland House! when i got to ball field i shared it with a couple who had just thrown the ball field pizza away as it was awful. They had a slice of mine which they said was fantastic! Better check withwhat is going to the ball field as it discredits your restaurant!!!
