I am from Maine but live in Albuquerque. When I come home I always get my Amato’s Italian Sandwich.
I waited a few hours before posting this because I needed to resonate on how AMAZING this sub was! They suggested the Original Classic Italian Sub… we are getting another one for dinner!! It was THE BEST SUB I HAVE EVER HAD!!!

The staff at this location is lovely. Customers can come here occasionally for lunch, and they will whip up another sandwich free of charge if the order is accidentally placed at the wrong location. Amato's is the absolute best sandwich shop franchise, with fresh veggies, great meat, and wonderful service. The original sandwich with extra black olives (kalamata, not salad) and the pickles are to die for. The outdoor patio is great, and the service is fast, making Amato's a neighborhood gem.
