“We wanted Italian tonight and was pleased to find Cartellis North End right in Dover. Service was great. You can actually see the kitchen from anywhere you sit. Even though the place is small and noisy, the atmosphere was quaint and the food was delicious. I heard they give large portions, so we ended up each ordering appetizer and splitting an entree but still brought some home. Loved the spinach/artichoke dip. The chicken wings looked delicious but the penne vodka with shrimp dish was wonderful. Thanks for being so close to home and bedtime wishes to expand some day soon.“

“Went here as a special occasion and it did not disappoint. Absolutely a fine dining aesthetic, which usually isn't my go-to, but it was very pleasant. The service was exceptional to the point where our waitress caught on an error of one of our food items before it even came out. The food was flavorful and delicious. They're definitely a more wine focused place, but their draft selection (I believe rotates) was super-solid. We got the fried calamari/peppers appetizer which was delicious and I personally had a chicken parm which had great portions to it. Everything was prepared well and was full of flavor!

Price point wise I believe you do pay a lot for the quality of service and the atmosphere, but nothing is amiss with the quality of the food. Definitely a once in a while place but would have this on my radar for a future special occasion.“

“This restaurant is in a truck stop and it's some of the BEST food I've ever gotten at a truck stop.
I got baked ziti with chicken and I highly recommend it. The price isn't to bad considering it's in a truck stop. If you're a driver who's been driving all day and want a warm made to order meal this place is definitely worth a try!“

“Love this place and their chicken parm. We went there Saturday after the week from hell. Michelle A had no idea who we were, and had no idea what a bad week we had and still provided us the best service I could have asked for. She knew her job and she knows people. She gave us the best experience at lunchtime anyone could have ever asked for. Knowing nothing about us and not knowing how rough we had it that week and STILL being so kind, patient, talkative and helpful is proof that she is a true asset. “Would give it an (overall) 5 rating and 4 (food) rating given a little more sauce on the pasta, and WAY less salt on the bread rolls - which I cannot even eat without scraping first. Regular stop for the wife and I for Spaghetti with Meatballs and sometimes, Sausages. With the Meat Sauce, a very tasty meal for the price, though I believe the portions of the sauce have been reduced recently, lowering it's value as well. All meals come with a choice of soup or salad, I choose the salad regularly (lettuce, tomato, onion and croutons, Italian dressing and optional fresh grated cheese). The tiramisu is to die for and the wine (Red Blend) very nice at the price.“

The cannoli was made to order and was amazing.
