“Man lemme tell you, this what a diner is meant to be. Family owned and full of personality, with a short menu of inspired twists on diner classics, all fantastic and none overwrought. Standouts were the stuffed French toast, hoaty’s favorite combo and the pork eggs Benedict. Oops that’s everything I had. Perfect scores across the board.“

“Saturday October 4, 2025 I had the pleasure of having Lucy as our waitress. We were a party of 6, ordered dinner and drinks. I am not a beer drinker(sorry) so Lucy took the time to explain your Island District drinks to me. I left with a four pack after an amazing night of music, family, and good friends. Lucy and the team that were short staffed and super busy. She didn’t miss a beat. Amazing testament to your establishment . Looking for to our next visit!“

“We can’t get enough of the amazing excellence of this establishment. I honestly can’t think of anything I don’t love about this place! I feel like VIP every time I dine here! From Kevin to Carlos to Dylan and all the beautiful staff here, it’s an experience to remember. We think they put crack cocaine in the chicken fingers they are so good! I am craving the clam chowda as I write this. Oh, and did I mention my favorite singer of all time? @lewisgoodwinmusic plays here night and day?The ocean view and breeze are not to shabby either. Please don’t take my word for it, come check it out!“

“Last night we had dinner at the Purple Urchin and had a great experience. We were seated by a very nice young lady in a window seat, which was awesome.
Then we were greeted by Noah, who was very pleasant. He took our order, smiled, and so friendly. THANK YOU!!
We ordered a beer, Coconut shrimp, lobster Rangoon's, and pretzel bites. Everything was PERFECT!! We cleaned the plates for sure.
Overall environment and experience was outstanding and would highly recommend it to friends!!“

“We recently had a banquet for little warriors football, and asked local businesses for food donations. I reached out to the owner of wing-itz to ask if he would be able to donate chicken tenders, and he was happy to donate a very large amount. I did not realize that he had just hosted a team dinner for the high school team the week before. What Derek is always willing to contribute to the youth of our community is incredible.“

“First time ever and had the most AMAZING meals, drinks and experience. Staff A+! Food, chicken, broccoli Alfredo. 10/10. Creamed lemon Haddock. 10/10!!! Drinks and bartender, Brittany A+. Chef came out to us to see how our meal was. Told him we left NOTHING on the plate, neither one of us. Not a CRUMB! I usually leave a little something to take home. I couldn’t stop eating. DELICIOUS. “it was really really cold as still had nice core of regulars. waitress very nice. BUT MY GOD THE PENDANT LIGHTING FIXTURE WAS LIKE SOME 200 WATT ENERGY SAVER BULB TGAT WOILD BE TOO HARSH FOR YOUR LAUNDRY ROOM. they wouldn't dim it until kitchen closed. policy i was told. if you're going avoid sitting in a booth. and ashworth is you're reading this: what the hell man?“

“My family recently booked a private function in the Eisenhower room at Lamies. Everything was truly exceptional. Michelle and her team went out of their way to guarantee that our extra large party was perfectly cared for. I highly recommend considering the Old Salt for your private functions. You won’t find better service.“
