“We stopped by on a whim and was surprised there was live music and no wait. The food was delicious and they were very accommodating. The wait staff was on the ball, we got seated quickly and checked on often even though they were busy. Will definitely be going back.“

“My wife and I have been fortunate enough to have traveled the world, and I can say with complete confidence that we had THE BEST breakfast of our lives at Friendly Toast in Portsmouth NH. I had The Irish Benedict, and my wife had The Hash Quiche. Oh my gosh! They were off-the-chain delicious. These aren't like a standard breakfast from IHOP or Denny's. These are breakfast choices I don't recall having had before. The food was so good that we went two mornings in a row. If you're ever in Portsmouth, eat here. Get there right at 8 am because it fills up in a hurry. Basil was our waiter the first morning, and Summer was our waitress the second morning, and they both did a great job.“
“Sean, the owner/bartender, was super personable and clearly passionate about good food. We got a margarita (fantastic) and two bowls (a steak and a chorizo bowl each, also fantastic). We felt welcome from the moment we walked in and look forward to returning.“
“A surprise gem. We've eaten here several times. Everything is good. The French fries are fresh cut daily and that makes a difference. I like the pulled pork sandwich. The other person with me had the corned beef hash Rubin which she enjoyed. A different take but it works.“
“First time visit and well worth it. Many beers on tap including several of their own, all which were very good. No flights offered however 4oz half pours serves the same purpose. The food was excellent as was our server. We were a party of 6 and were well taken care of in every way. We will certainly be back.“
