I guess she’s only worked here a few months, but she was excellent and so great to talk to. Her attentiveness and customer service was amazing. The drinks were great and the pizza we ordered was delicious. Would highly recommend this place, and we will be back.”

“If you are traveling to Rye, head here for breakfast and lunch. Easy to pop off the beach. Took a Labor Day trip to Rye and ate breakfast here with my spouse three mornings in a row. I loved the lox bagel, avocado toast, common roots burrito, teas and espresso. We also shopped in the store for drinks and grocery. What a diamond of a business! One of the baristas with long dark hair was a real sweetheart every morning. Really kind staff, lots of locals popping in. I am very grateful for the honesty of the business as I left my purse there and Frank the GM (who makes hot sauce!) returned it to me. Great business!”

“oh wow... what a find! We were looking for a seafood restaurant when passing thru the area and the name caught our attention. We had an amazing dinner! We both chose the seafood fettuccine, which was heavenly - incredible pasta and sauce topped with succulent seafood. Desserts were lavender creme brulee and white chocolate cake...Holy cow! Dinner and service were both top-notch.. and we can't wait to return!”

“I’m from the Boston area and was meeting a friend in Portsmouth for dinner. We picked Durbar Square and we’re definitely not disappointed. We had an absolutely fabulous meal there. The chicken chili was a delicious, and a different approach than any chili I’ve had before. The chicken was perfect cooked. The sauce was full of flavor. They also ask you to pick yours spice range from 1-10 so you can choose what suits you best. The owner, John, is totally engaged with his customers and if you want, can even demonstrate a yoga pose or 2 (which he is very good at). Just overall a great place to eat.”

“I work at the Moffatt-Ladd House across the street and have been meaning to come over and experience their menu, as we often have overlapping customers. Our host sat us right away, drinks were fabulous, and all the meals were absolutely amazing! (I had the caribbean grilled swordfish.) My mom had been here with her parents in college in the early 80s and clearly Casey is carrying the mantle well. Thank you especially to our server, Rachel!”

“Everything was amazing - went for my birthday dinner, requested and received a table by the window for 8 people, cocktails were fabulous - dirty martini, hot & dirty martinis amazing and Manhattan looked fantastic. Most of us ordered sushi, which was outstanding. Servers were outstanding, environment lively, we took our time and did not feel rushed, even on a Friday night. Thank you for an amazing night!”

Raj the owner personally served us and told us about his journey from humble beginnings to now one of the top 20 or so indian cuisines in the country. It doesn't take long to taste why. An unassuming restaurant on the outside to an amazing comfortable and authentic interior space to welcome anyone and everyone ready for the mos amazing dining experiences they will have.
