Everything was amazing - went for my birthday dinner, requested and received a table by the window for 8 people, cocktails were fabulous - dirty martini, hot & dirty martinis amazing and Manhattan looked fantastic. Most of us ordered sushi, which was outstanding. Servers were outstanding, environment lively, we took our time and did not feel rushed, even on a Friday night. Thank you for an amazing night!
Food was excellent, but by far, Derek was phenomenal. His attention to detail might go unnoticed to some but he truly made the night for us.
Some of the nicest waiters and staff I’ve had in awhile!! Thank you Cody for the great service and will have to be back for the great views

Surf Portsmouth offers an energetic atmosphere, friendly staff, and incredible food. Highlights include the hot buttered lobster roll, lobster sushi roll, and delicious New England Seafood Trio. The restaurant also has a good kids menu and accommodates service dogs. The clam chowder is creamy and buttery with bacon and potatoes. Everyone enjoyed their food, even the picky eaters. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. The manager goes above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience.
