Been coming roamed since it opened 10 years ago and it is our go to restaurant in Portsmouth. The entire menu is fabulous and the service is top notch. I've had close to 200 meals here and have never been disappointed.
Recommended by other restaurants...A short day trip toward the eastern coast of New Hampshire from Concord found us in the historic, picturesque seaport of Portsmouth. In search of some seafood for lunch, the Surf Portsmouth was recommended by other restaurants and we were not disappointed. Initially, we wanted to dine outside with the wonderful views. Not terrible. I had the surf and turf with filet and lobster tail. It was not terrible lobster, but it was a little tough which was surprising given the location and the about $80 that the plate costed. The steak was a little better but could have used more flavor. Over-all not bad, but the plate should have been more at a $45 price point relative to its quality. I would say keep the higher price and improve the plate.
