We dined here for the first time today, Mother’s Day. Our brunch was delicious, without a doubt the best hollandaise sauce I have ever tasted!We will return for dinner soon and have already made reservations for New Year’s Eve! My wife and I came for dinner on a whim this past Wednesday evening. We really loved it! The ambience is nice, the seating is very comfortable and cozy, the service was good (very sweet staff!) and the food was super delicious. We particularly liked the honey roasted carrots!

Fun, sophisticated menu that delivers. Best bolognese I've had - and we make it from scratch at home. Bummed that our first entree choices were already sold out but the duck and salmon were excellent second choices. The chocolate caramel tart is the stuff dreams are made of. This is a spot not to be missed if you enjoy fine dining....
The service was fantastic and the food was good. The fat on the crispy duck was very well rendered but it was served skin side down so the skin lost its crispiness. We loved the cheese platter and the crème brûlée. I would recommend this restaurant and will return again in the future.

Another evening of excellent service and finely crafted dishes. We had the tuna tartare, buratta and duck - all beautifully plated and delicious. Special cocktails featuring a local distillery were a treat.

It was a snowy night and very uncrowded. Delightful and attentive service from Ken, and very good food, as always. A Kittery landmark and benchmark for at least 12 years now and still going strong! Fried olives are a must-try for any newbie.

We went to Anneke Jans for their Easter Brunch and unfortunately were very disappointed. The service was subpar, especially for the price. The food did not come as ordered and it was difficult to get the wait staff's attention to resolve the issues. The coffee was an undrinkable sludge and the portion sizes were oddly disproportionate between items. It was evident that the restaurant was understaffed -- the waitress apologized multiple times to 3 different tables for her delay, which made things feel constantly hectic. The food was good but the overall experience was a disappointment.

Always one of our Seacoast area absolute favorites. From a gracious welcome to fabulous service, we always feel at home. Food quality is consistently solid with an interesting menu. And the Kitchen is very considerate to food allergy concerns. Highly recommended!

Anneke Jans Kittery is truly a gem . Its elegant cozy atmosphere is so inviting and each time we go there it is the best dining experience. The open hearth kitchen visible from the dining room is beautiful !The service is always impeccable and every staff member is so friendly . They have a more formal dining room , or you can also dine in the bar area which is equally as cozy.The food is amazing every time we go and they have great cocktails . The owners are wonderful also and you feel so welcomed all the time .We both got a fish dish which was so well seasoned and delicious . They also have amazing vegetarian option which we have tried many times .It’s our favorite place for Birthdays , Anniversary or any other reason . In the summer they have a wonderful patio to dine in overlooking he whole Foreside .We can’t wait to go back !Vegetarian options: So delicious and innovative !

Ken was our waiter! He was awesome attentive, funny, helpful and made our night better. Jason the owner added in candles for 3 of our friends who had bdays last minute. We have been going there for years and currently it's the best it's ever been!!!
Originally we were going to dine in the dining room but once we got there, we decided to eat at the bar. The bartenders were fantastic! Very accommodating and pleasant! Our dinners were delicious, and we finished it off with a bread pudding for dessert, which was amazing!
