Great lobster rolls, and maybe the best whole belly fried clams I've ever had.

We were there on a Sunday afternoon. It was very busy. We waited briefly in line to order. We got the mozzarella sticks, calamari, onion rings, bbq chicken strips & lobster roll. Chicken strips came with fries and coleslaw. Im very particular about my coleslaw. I prefer it made with Hellmans mayo. There's is not..but its close..not sweet like that gross miracle whip stuff. 😞We waited about 20-25 mins for our food, but it wasn't a terrible wait and the food was very hot & fresh. The food portions were big and the food itself was very tasty and good. We'd definitely go back when we are in the vicinity.

A lot of people are saying the prices have gone up and the quality of food has gone downhill since the new owners have taken over the Kittery location. a couple of years ago. They no longer have fraps like before. Their coke tasted funny so I had to dump it and get a root beer instead.

They were generous with the small(1/2 pint) clam basket but the clams were no wheres near as good as Mike's Clam Shaq(which were melt in your mouth I might add). The cole slaw was ok but the fries were bland and hard(not a fan).

All in all, Bob's Clam Hut just does not conform to standard fried New England Seafood which is high! I only give the food a two because the clam strips weren't rancid nor disqusting. Yet there's no WOW! facter to the taste like other establishments across coastal New England!

First time trying this place and it didn't disappoint.

The fried shrimp basket an lobster rolls with mayo was great would definitely come back.

Quoted 30 minutes for meal prep. Hour and a half later still no food. Shut off onlineand phone orders. Stop taking face to fqxe orders until you’re caught up. This is ridiculous, still 10 numbers before us. Get your act together.

Thoroughly disappointed with the lobster roll and amount of meat for $31.95 It was soggy and falling apart after being freshly served. The chowder was amazing and super hot. I grabbed the Togo bowl of it to eat while sitting in my car and the lid fell off because there was nothing holding it like it was too big for the container and I burned my hands and wore a 1/3 of the container. At $11.95 for a couple cups of soup it was expensive and as I said delicious.

I was there a few weeks ago and had the best Lobster roll ever! totally worth the price! I go thru Kittery often and will definitely be stopping back as often as possible!

Cute place. We came later on a fall evening, so it was pretty empty, but I imagine it's packed earlier in the day. The food was good, but nothing that would make me want to go back for more. Our crab cake was a little too fried, which ruined it for me, but the shrimp were good and our family enjoyed their lobster roll and grilled cheese.
