Tried coming here for lunch but it was packed so we came back later for dinner. Really glad we did! Food was delicious.

5 plates total. Avg cost plate appx . Best Clams I’ve had ever. The prices are too high. I spent 175.00 for my small group.
I guess you have to pay these days.

Staff good. Fast kitchen.

Price reduction would be a good suggestion. Especially on the clams etc

Right after post-Christmas shopping at the Kittery Outlets in Maine, we stopped by Bob’s Clam Hut for some of our favorites—onion rings, clam strips, and fried oysters. It was very cold outside, but the inside was warm and lively, with quite a few people enjoying fresh, tasty seafood and fries. As usual, everything was very good. We ordered to go and enjoyed it in the car on our drive home, so no food photos this time—but the quality never disappoints. 🦪❄️

No doubt the food is good here. Lobster rolls off season can be pricey, expect to pay $100 for clams, 2 lobster rolls and 2 drinks.

But tastes real good.

Food is good however over priced and bland. The batter they use has almost no flavor, the whole belly clams look more like clam strips. My expectations for what we spent were not met. Not likely to return

I am a big fan of fried clams and these are very well done. I visit KTP next door and this is almost always my lunch stop. It is always prepared fresh and delicious when you order. The dining room could use a hair more heat when it is cold so your food stays warm longer. The food is the winner and that is why we stop in. I will be back again I am sure.

When to Bob's today and the lobster roll was definitely subpar. The butter tasted diluted and the lobster pieces were small and not tasty. The last we went in September I got fried clams and they were very small. After 2 not great visits, it will be quite awhile until we go back. This had always been one of our favorite places but no longer.

Bob’s Clam Shack offers a quintessential dining experience.
The ambiance is lacking. Picnic tables outside diner tables in but that’s not why you come here. The food is the star.
Service can be slow but that is most certainly a function of the high demand for the great food.
If you are looking for lobster rolls, clam strips or most any of New England’s iconic seafood — Bob’s is the place.

The food wasn't worth the hype.
The lobster was soggy.
The scallops were breaded, hoped for broiled.
