We live in Wells Maine . These Lobster rolls were the WORST we have ever had!!!
Wish we would have read these reviews before hand!
Cold Chewy lobster meat that has absolutely no flavor, no mayo, no salt and pepper no lemon no anything on a stale dry hamburger roll which was not buttered and grilled just dry !
It’s very obvious that the Mgr. or the Owner doesn’t read these reviews or maybe they do but don’t care?
It’s really too bad because the location is beautiful!
$ 73.00 2 Lousy lobster rolls
1 small order of fries
2 ice teas
Save your money and go some where else.
First time...beautiful setting on the water, very relaxing. It ends there. Steamers were sandy, Lobster roll, I didn't have it, but it wasn't impressive for 27.00. Coconut shrimp, absolutely frozen, and hard. Very small unimpressive menu. Its a beautiful spot, need to step it up .
Monday was a beautiful day in Kittery and Chauncey Creek is a beautiful place for sure. But the lobster roll was overpriced, undersized and as tasteless as good lobster can be. Roll was a plain, untoasted hamburger bun. No butter, or mayonnaise or proprietary Chauncey Creek sauce mixed with lobster. This was very bland as other reviewers have mentioned. Hate to say it but there are supermarkets that can give you a much better product...but not the view!
Just so friendly and inviting.

An absolute gem. The food, service, overall atmosphere - simply incredible. Take all my stars!!
Chauncey Creek is always excellent. Now that I live outside the US, I make sure to schedule my visits during the open season. The food (steamers and lobsters) was perfectly prepared and delicious. Even the sides (coleslaw, corn on the cob and onion rings) were amazing. The setting on Chauncey Creek, with a view toward Portsmouth Harbor really adds to to the ambience. And the stars are all super welcoming, efficient and friendly. This is our go-to destination for exceptional seafood in a classic, rustic setting.

Chauncey Creek Lobster Pier is hands down one of the best lobster spots I’ve ever been to!Some people have mentioned that it can be a bit pricey, but let’s not forget—it’s BYOB!
Tourist trap. Lobster roll ($30) is served on a tasteless hamburger bun, not buttered or toasted, plain. Add a few chips and a pickle slice! Welcome to Maine. Go someplace that cares. Made us want to leave the state.

My first lobster in the States - and it would remain the best so far. Absolutely fresh and the ambience is unsurpassable. Unfortunately, I just caught the last day of the season, which meant I didn't have the pleasure again during my stay. Otherwise I would have liked to come again.

Very good lobster rolls. Nice quality lobsters. Not the biggest amount served. Probably would have done a whole lobster instead.
The chowder is excellent.
Fantastic oysters on a half shell.
Good french fries.
Ambiance is fantastic... You sit outside on a dock on an inlet. Picturesque and lovely.
Very friendly staff.
Highly recommend on your way up to Portland if coming from down south.

Bring your own wine, beer drinks etc and enjoy the local caught Lobster in a picnic setting on the pier. I really enjoyed the lobster role as didn’t have time for the whole lobster, I will next time ??.
