Hadn't been back for several years. Updated interior nice. 515 reservation for 3 so place was fairly empty. Was Expecting a relatively upscale experience.Ushered to high top behind bar without being offered any option or being asked preference or asked of acceptablility. Table was directly below music speaker for the room. A bit too loud to be pleasant but could still have a conversation.Waitress seemed over worked or stressed and it showed . Delays and gaps in ordering process. After drinks served had to ask another for some bread for the table. Food had good flavors and seasoning. Menu seemed pretty limited. I opted for the burger as a safe bet. Medium rare turned out to be raw. Meals brought out by same gentleman who got bread for table. Waitress came by probably 15 to 20 minutes later. Too late to see if they could get the burger back on grill for 2 minutes. Took my chances with my tartar burger. Didn't want to stay longer for dessert and coffee at a bar high top. No desire to return anytime soon given a mediocre experience, options all over and challenging parking.

We had a wonderful evening, Our server was amazing and friendly. The food was outstanding. We were seated immediately, had a window view. The valet parker went out of his way to inform us we had parked in a tow-away zone and then grabbed our keys. He had our car started and warm when we came out. Overall a fabulous experience.

The restaurant was beautiful, and the table we sat at was near the window and nice. The Fried Olive appetizer was delicious, and the meal was wonderful. The dessert was great. The quantity and quality of the food was the best we have ever had. The waitress, Sylvia, was knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and pleasant. It is now our favorite restaurant.

Everything was perfect! We had a party of 6 we made a reservation for. We were seated right away and our server Alex was fabulous! She was attentive and friendly. Everyone was very happy with their meals. I got the salmon and it was cooked exactly how I like it. I couldn't finish it but my husband was happy about that and was able to help me out. Drinks were amazing as well. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend.

I always enjoy every visit I make to your restaurant. This time the noise level was very loud (I know not your fault, lots of diners). The food was good but unfortunately everything arrived cold. The plating was beautiful and it was a shame that the app and three entrees all arrived cold.

Always a fun night at AJ's. Staff are friendly. A+ service. Chef is creative and goes out of his way to accommodate food allergies. Pthe vanilla bread pudding is the best on the planet. Love the ambiance and energy.

European-influenced diming in a cozy cosmopolitan setting. Service was EXCELLENT, atmosphere inviting, and overall a very enjoyable experience. The food was very good, and we enjoyed everything. The first desert served was not up to scratch, but our waitress was quick to change it for an alternative. Price was a little on the steep side, even for the area. But it won't stop me returning. Valet parking on a Friday night was a great bonus (it was raining hard!).

We were greeted immediately when we walked in and were courteously shown to our very nice table (we'd made a reservation) by the window. The waitress was prompt, knowledgeable about the food and drink offerings, and very friendly. Food was outstanding -- great tasting and decent portions.

Good, but not up to their usual standard. Pork tenderloin was cut in large clunky cylinders, and the amount of sides served was too small for the large plate. The steak in the steak frites was cooked correctly but seems to have sat for a while since it wasn't as warm as it should have been. Just seemed a bit off.

I haven't been for several years, and Anneke Jans is better than I remember! Due to some recent health issues, eating out is challenging, but the chef kindly prepared my dinner with that in mind. I love it here.

Waitress did not effectively communicate which order had to be gluten-free so one salad did not match the menu. One salad had onions but that was not on menu description and onions are an issue for my wife.

We enjoyed a quick drink and a couple apps at the bar on a recent Friday night. The Malai Kabob was the standout choice, but the tandoori shrimp and the Paneer naan were also good. The restaurant and the bar were quite busy. Good spot.

Always a great experience. The menu is regularly updated and the chef is spectacular. I'm not a vegetarian but I often find myself ordering the daily vegetarian specials as they are so flavorful. Jason and his staff are a gift to the Seacoast restaurant scene

As always the food was excellent as was the service. Unfortunately, the noise level made it almost impossible to have a "normal" conversation. Maybe the need for sound lessening techniques should be considered.
