My daughter and I were craving a roast beef sandwich and Henry VIII Carvery came up as the top choice. After eating there, I can see why. Living in Northern MA, I'm used to the North Shore style roast beef which is thinly sliced, piled high, and typically swimming in sauce.Here, they serve a chopped prime rib roast beef sandwich with this amazing sour cream horseradish sauce and it served on this perfect sub roll which is soft, a little crunchy crust and holds the meat nicely.The prime rib was perfectly cooked, super tender and flavorful and the the roll was very good. We enjoyed a bag of chips on the side.Cool decor in the restaurant including a full sized knight in shining armor. Of I loved closer to Kittery, I'd be here weekly. Definitely check them out!

Good place for a quick lunch. Nice menu options with tasty roast beef. More like take out. Even with gas fireplace, seating was lacking coziness. Sandwiches were served on a hoagie roll. Chips are extra. I was expecting something nicer for bread. Very good service and friendly staff.

Stopped in on a whim. We WILL be back. The sandwiches we had were amazing. My daughter got au just with hers and said it was so good she could drink it. The buns were soft and delicious. They also had soups, salads and wraps. Food was delivered quickly. The lady taking orders was so nice and kind and so efficient. I would 100% recommend them and my daughter and I are plan ing to go back soon with our husbands.

Truly awesome sandwiches. The roast beef was perfect. Get it 'crowned' for a bigger portion of roast beef and veggies. Also, the au jus sauce for dipping. Come hungry!
They were very accommodating and helpful with my dad's beverage request. He also loved his turkey ? sandwich. There is a nice little gift shop to browse while they make your sammich. We will definitely return next time we are in the area!!

My wife and I had two of the best sandwiches we’ve ever had—Queen Anne and Cromwell. The meats and other ingredients are fresh and extremely high quality. The sandwiches are very tastefully curated. We sat in a nice outdoor picnic area but the inside is nice too.
