My mom and I stopped here on a whim while driving through Kittery at the beginning of this past summer. I had the black raspberry ice cream. Well, this was just the beginning of a summer long ice cream kick! I was never really an ice cream lover until Mrs. and Me. For the entire summer I was trying homemade ice cream from different places if they happened to be nearby where I visited. Nothing compared at all! I stopped by this ice cream joint yesterday while in the area again and I’m obsessed! I did sample their special coconut and raspberry and it was divine! I can say no ice cream that I’ve had in New England comes close.

This little place in what I have experienced eating ice cream and it’s not a daily thing for me is hands down the BEST ice cream you will let melt in your mouth. I have no idea how they do it but every bite seems to come with a smile. Now the negative, expect a line and its not because of staffing because they are always staffed its because its the best ice cream in New England. They are open during our tourist season here in Maine and close somewhere around mid to late September. So if you happen to be passing through York, Maine stop and say hi and grab a scoop you will regret not knowing what all of us already know. They have the best pup cups for your four legged family member.
Parking: Many spots to park for free while dining. I would not recommend parking overnight or you may not have a vehicle to come back to because it had been towed.

Great ice cream. My negative review is about the staff. They ask for a tip. Every. Single. Time. Every other time we go they talk in front of customers that they are excited to clear $200, $300 in tips tonight. Tonight they were upset that I didn't tip this time. Nothing verbal but an audible "huff" followed by continued conversation of hitting their financial goal. Very unprofessional and pathetic. It's time for a negative review.
Our friends joke about this often, but now it's just annoying. Stop asking for the tip!

Solid choices and decent portions. Only a couple vegan options but quick service. You can even get pints to go!
Vegetarian options: Couple of vegan ice cream options and some sorbet. Sorbet was good and the vegan strawberry was ok.
