Omg. We found this place thanks to fellow Google reviews and are so happy we did. The seafood is super fresh, giant pieces, and the shoestring fries are to die for. The cook talked to us and we got the scallop chowder before leaving. I normally do not like a lot of chowders but this melted in your mouth. Please come out and try this local business. We will definitely be back.

AMAZING! The place is cute and pristine, menu is temping. Turns out the freindly, knowledgable gent who took our order, cooked and delivered our fabulous meal was the owner of the fishing boat that supplies the restaurant - WOW! Got a hot and a cold lobster roll with a side of whole belly fried clams. Flipped thru a photo book of his fishing boat and crew in action that was on our table while we waited - nice touch. Lobster rolls arrived on large griddled, buttered sweet rolls and were piled high with big chunks and whole claws, mine gently kissed with the lightest amount of mayo - so fresh - WOW, again! My son devoured his hot lobser roll after uttering, "oh wow", after his first bite. The clams were so plump and fresh, so lightly battered and perfectly fried, none clumped together - honestly, we plotzed. Apparently, they're gluten-free, too. They were likely the best I've ever eaten. Packing a cooler on the next trip to bring some fresh fish back from the in-restaurant market. If New England Fishmongers isn't on your 'MUST GO" list for your visit to Kittery, fire your travel planner. Local? RUN, DON'T WALK to this gem!! Sorry, no photos, was too busy enjoying it IRL.

This is the real deal for fresh seafood. I brought a friend visiting from the south and she loved her lobster roll and fish chowder. The owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming. Will be bringing anyone who wants a lobster roll here in the future.

I found out about this place while visiting the kittery farmers market. If you are looking for the best seafood in the Kittery, Portsmouth area this is the spot. I like to stop in and get a couple of the haddock tacos for lunch. The portion is huge, always fresh and you cannot beat the price. If you are lucky enough to happen to visit when scallop chowder is available, GET IT! The staff is super friendly and Captain Tim always stops to say hi when he’s around.

Tasty fried seafood! You would never know that the batter is gluten free, and I appreciated getting to share some New England classics with a friend who has celiacs. The fried monk fish special was a unique addition to the menu that we enjoyed.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free fryer. Sandwiches/rolls cannot be made gluten free but the seafood baskets are and it seemed like they avoided cross contamination based on a lack of reaction from my friend with celiacs.
