This small, family owned restaurant is everything!! Bene’s Beef is the real deal! Everything on their amazing menu is fantastic! Their roast beef sandwiches are hands-down the best around: perfectly rare, juicy slices of beef stacked high on a buttery toasted bun, with just the right sauces and toppings. And don’t even get me started on the tallow fries—they’re crispy, flavorful, and impossible to stop eating. Go!!!

I had very high expectations for Bene's Beef, and they exceeded them. The beef was beautifully cooked and seasoned. I got the Jack Burton, which had pork belly, fried garlic, and a chili crisp aoli. It was a flavor BOMB! This sandwich was perfectly balanced, with each element singing without overpowering the rest. The staff are incredibly friendly and I enjoyed my time with them as much as the food. The beef tallow fries also did not disappoint. Seating is limited, but if you can, eat there. Lastly, the woman taking orders really was the cherry on the sundae: friendly, attentive, and sweet as pie. I grew up in Northeast Mass, and my Dad had his beef place he loved over in Dracut. The whole vibe really made me feel like I was back in Mass, eating a beef with my dad. (Only the flavor was WAY better!) GO HERE AND EAT... NOW!

Absolutely amazing! We tried the 3 way, the cheesy tallow fries and the Mac and cheese. We also got eclairs for dessert. Everything was delicious, high quality and filling. We will be back!!
The most perfect rare roast beef. The mark of a great sandwich is how many napkins you use. I used 4 fully! As for the tallow fries, until you eat them, you'll never know how good they are. Get the maple sea salt

I was craving a North Shore style roast beef sando and lucky for me this place is in my hometown. So when I was in the area for an appointment I made it a point to stop in. Happy I did. Totally hit the spot and then some! Owner is cool and his family is super sweet. Loved talking to them and already dreaming about my next visit.

The doordash order did not arrive when I ordered it through no fault of the restaurant. They remade it fresh for me, gave me some free eclairs for the inconvenience (which were delicious) and were very accommodating and friendly.
The sandwiches are crazy massive and delicious. Try the Mac and cheese with pork belly, I loved it.
Edit: even my cat loves the meat here and he never eats people food!

This guy is killing it!!! The roast beef is divine. So incredibly tender, juicy and flavorful. The sandwich I had was called the Russian. The Russian dressing was made in houde and entirely enchanting for my flavor sensitive taste buds. I traveled 1.5 hrs to try this outstanding sandwich & fries after friends had consistently discussed the heavenly mouth blessings they had experienced at Bene's. What my fellow friend foodies failed to disclose was how silently seductive the fries would be...fresh cut in front of me, perfectly fried in tallow, salted and slide across the counter casually, with a smile that spoke confidence due to the knowledge that what was in that deli box was a reminder of potatoes dressed and done up proper. The fries alone made the 1.5 hr trek from the mountains to the city worth every minute. There's nothing that naturally provokes me to want to travel to the Lewiston area, however, this small deli in a gas station, I will make the drive with a smile to hand this man the hard worked dollars I have waded up in my hand eagerly for his unmatched passion & purpose he serves up with precision. The place is simple, clean and quick...fast paced without forgetting any steps for flavor

What awesome food! The roast beef was so very tender, the sandwich we had (Bene’s 3-way jr) was a great size and the sea salt tallow fries were crispy and not the slightest bit greasy! TJ was welcoming and friendly. Small joint, great service, fantastic food! Highly recommend.
