Fist time. Brunch with breakfast ordered. 40 min wait with 2 tables seated in the entire room. The food was cold. No seasoning whatsoever on anything. Who wants cold plain toast with no butter or jam? Wrong food was brought out. Look, a breakfast table should have salt, pepper, butter, jam, Katsup, sugar, cream. These are the basics in setting a table for breakfast, right? Coffee should come back around and someone should know how to make a latte if it is ordered and promised. A latte is not coffee with a side of milk. And yet you pay for latte. It was the worst breakfast we have ever had and paid top dollar for. The cook was not a chef. Obviously, just a line cook with no passion or pride in her profession. What a shame. Cannot go back. The small diners, they know how to serve breakfast.

Went to brunch and came back for dinner. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The food is superb. The meal exceeded my expectations, I love how the beef tartare came on a canoe style cut bone marrow. My duck was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the variety in the menu yet the menu did not overwhelm speaking to to the quality of each dish prepared perfectly.
The service was great, genuinely friendly and welcoming. My wife and really enjoy fine dining experiences and this place did not disappoint. A quality experience and highly recommend the best meal we have had since moving to Lewiston.

Great restaurant and happy to finally make it in. The food was good. My only qualms were the negronis didn't have one large icecube and instead had a lot of small icecubes. The small cubes water drinks down. The portion of duck was huge and one piece would have been plenty. The duck fat wasn't rendered so the skin was chewy and not all that great.

This restaurant really piqued our interest when we first heard of it and then arrived. We were less than impressed, however, when we ordered and received our food. Everything is a la carte. They don’t even give you bread with your meal unless you pay for it. There were 4 of us on our party and when we asked for bread, we were told that they had sea salt buns on the menu for a charge, but only 3 buns per order. Since there were 4 of us, don’t you think they could have sent 4 buns (with an up charge, if needed)? No, we were told that we could pay for 2 orders of bread instead of just bringing us 1 extra bun.
We should have been alerted to the restaurant’s quality when there was only one other couple in the restaurant throughout the dinner.
The food was very mediocre. Although the number of mussels in the order was plentiful, the. flavor was just OK. One person in the party said the mushrooms in his risotto were unrecognizable and chewy. One person claimed his chicken was not very tasty and was covered in bread. This was an expensive restaurant so we were quite surprised about the quality of the food.
We will not be going back there.

I am beyond elated to have stumbled upon this hidden gem! From the food to the service it was top tier. On par with many of the fine dining experiences I’ve had in Portland and it is very exciting to have found that in our little corner of Lewiston Maine . We cannot wait to return and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Lovely dinner at bon Vivant tonight! Service was excellent - friendly host and an efficient, attentive server. We had beautiful, fresh mussels to start, cooked in a perfect coconut broth. I enjoyed the duck entree and my mother raved about her chicken paillard. The highlight of an already impressive meal was the unique dessert - a tower of chocolate meringues layered with fresh cream and wine-soaked stone fruit. It was divine. We will be back. Thanks!

This place had a great vibe friendly service we went for brunch, and the food was delicious. We sat in the window seat. Everyone was very accommodating. It was nice and clean and very nicely decorated. I was strongly suggested, check out their brunch or a lovely dinner for two or more❤️❤️❤️

In from Texas. My wife made a reservation for Noon Saturday 7/20 and they confirmed it. However, upon arrival, they were closed, lights off and they would not answer the phone. Go figure.

Arrived at 10 am and were first table to be seated, ordered breakfast and was told one dish may take 15 minutes because lack of kitchen staff. 1.5 hours later we got our breakfast. My eggs were cold and since we were a party of 7 a 20 percent tip was already added to check. If you’re looking for cold eggs and a 75 dollar breakfast tab with a 1.5 hour wait look no further this is the place to go!

Went here for dinner and it was amazing! Sat at the bar with bartender Joe and he was incredible as were the food and drinks. The atmosphere was fantastic. I got the filet minion and it was cooked perfectly. The rolls and mussels appetizers were delicious and the cream brûlée was a great finisher. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice dinner with amazing food.
