I guess this is how they always do it just an fyi! 80-100 degrees internal would be an extremely generous guess, as a completely marinated steak with that much sodium in the juice will definitely mask the end result. you have to send it back to have it cooked to food safe temps.

For years this was the best place to get fried whole belly clams, sadly on my visit Tuesday they ran out at lunch. We had already ordered apps and beer or I would've left and visited one of the other great seafood restaurants in town. I only get to visit twice a year and this has left a bad feeling.

I got a lobster salad to go today and I must say I was very disappointed today, there was not much lobster today as they’re generally is This is the first time I’ve ever gotten a bad meal. I hope this was just a fluke because we frequent the restaurant quite often.

Had a delicious meal today! Large shrimp baked with seafood stuffing was so good, also a great salad and baked potato. The luncheon portion was more than enough and the price was SO reasonable at only $13.95. Our waitress was excellent too, such a good experience all around and can’t wait to go back!! Fried Coconut chicken and scallops were incredible.
First time getting food at this establishment. My sister and I are both gluten intolerant so this review really pertains to such consumers. Lots and lots of options- we ordered the Mariner plate for lunch. It was take out so we ate at home. The scallops and shrimps were excellent, the fish was really good. Finding tasty gluten free food can be tough. Our issue was with the French fries. Restaurants that serve gluten free food can sometimes not refresh their oil as often as they would for normal food. That is our guess- the fries had a strong, unusual odour so we both ate only a couple and we both felt unwell afterwards. I would guess that the oil is rancid- everything else was tasty so please folks, switch your oil over for gluten free food more often. Thanks

My party of three ate lunch last Thursday. We got fried clams in batter and a big burger. The hamburger was ordered medium and came out barely medium rare. Multiple clams were not separated and were not fully cooked inside. They also were delivered to the table lukewarm. Our server never came back to the table to check on how the food was. The burger was inedible as were multiple clams. The table had crumbs on it when we first sat down. Both genders bathrooms were dirty. It is apparent that they had not been cleaned recently. I’ve been an occasional guest at this restaurant for many years. Very disappointed on this occasion.

We stopped to have dinner tonight, I ordered the Mariners plate and the wife ordered the the baked stuffed haddock. when my dinner arrived I asked where the rest of the meal was? I was told that the it's the same but the plate got bigger. I got 5 small scallops and 5 shrimp and a small piece of haddock and some fries. Portions are definitely smaller. I have never left the Chickadee hungry before today.
