A lot of what you think about this place will depend on whether you've ever been to the NY/NJ area. If you have, you'll be a little disappointed. If you haven't, you'll probably like it. So its hard to rate an Italian place in Maine. It was OK, not great but not bad. The garlic knots are fantastic. I would have given it a 4 but the service was horrendous. The waitress seemed very distracted and impatient. Sometimes she'd disappear for a long time while other times she'd just hang around talking. Getting the check and paying it took almost a half hour. Very annoying. I felt like we were never gonna get out of there.
Very loud, and could not carry on a conversation without hollering. It was uncomfortably hot. 80 degrees plus. We were crowded at the table with 7 of us sitting at a table for 6 with a chair pulled up on the end. The table was too small for 7, We did have reservations which is recommended but we were very cramped up with no room on the table. The chairs are just wood and not comfortable. The server was new and although she did a good job and was tipped well she could have used a little more guidance and help. Especially for a table of 7. Food was very good and had no complaints 👌. Hot and it took a very reasonable amount of time to be brought to the table.
I showed up late. I got my bread and salad. Both good. My lasagna wasn’t there or coming after 45 minutes so I asked to square up for what I had eaten. The waiter canceled my bill and apologized. So, I can’t say anything about the food really but the wait staff seemed okay and the atmosphere was interesting. I will probably try again another day.
It is a very cool atmosphere being set inside of an old mill. The service was outstanding, the food was even better! It's funny, there is a industrial size scale right next to the check-in counter so you can weigh in and weigh out after the meal. Or it could just be there as ambiance. My lips are sealed and I didn't weigh out!!! If you're in Lewiston, it's a must dine at location!!!
My eggplant parm was the best I have ever had. Add the delicious garlic knots, and that made me a very happy person!
Loved my experience here. Great feel atmosphere and Manny did a great job as our server. We got 3 appetizers and they were all good but the stuffed mushrooms I’d drive back from Syracuse for😎. My chicken parm was excellent! Everyone loved what they got! Go here!!
Excellent food as usual.

Great meal in a comfortable setting. We visited on a quiet Monday night in the fall for dinner. Our server, Spencer, was very friendly and had great recommendations. We had the Chicken Amore, tasty sausage and moist chicken served over penne in a solid Alfredo sauce; and also had the Potato Gnocchi with Sausage Ragu - meaty, delicious, and satisfying. The entrees were served piping hot, and the portions were really generous, and there’ll be more than enough for lunch tomorrow too. The complimentary garlic bread knots were warm and tasted homemade, and even the starter salads were really fresh and nicely prepared. DaVinci’s was definitely worth the visit.

We had reservations for 10 to celebrate my son’s 40th birthday. Everyone arrived on time, drinks were brought to the table and appetizers were ordered. Manny was an excellent waiter. He moved things along well and right before ordering dessert an employee, maybe a manager, rushed over and said “you must leave now, we have another party arriving momentarily”
We were literally being kicked out of the restaurant before we were done. She turned and was gone. We were stunned!!! We were all planning on ordering cake and coffee, but out we went. And out we will stay!! None of us will ever step foot in this establishment again.

Had an excellent meal and fantastic service. We arrived close to closing, not on purpose…our service didn’t even seem to mind. He was very personable and right on point with service! Food was enough for two meals!

Really neat find on our stay from out of town! The food and staff were great! Wish I was a local so I could join their mug club.

Awesome Lasagna! Love that it contains beef, veal and pork... Tastes almost exactly like mine! The large portion provided me 2 meals. Really, really good!
