“chow mein” was a bunch of wet veggies in a flavorless sauce that only tasted like butter — iceberg lettuce instead of cabbage — NO NOODLES!! just a packet of crunchy cracker noodles (to put on top of the slop, i guess) — even the pork rice tasted burnt & weird — only good part was the very large egg roll — delivery was fast & food was hot, but i could only eat half of it before throwing the rest away :(

Hung up on three times told three different prices. Most ignorant people I have ever dealt with. For the combo plates at 17.90 and nothing else tried charging me 71. And change 3 of those plates only comes to 53 and change charging me 20 dollars in fees for me to pick up my food.

We tryed almost every place from Auburn to brunswick since we moved 2years ago we have finally found the place food was great tons of flavor and the portions were huge. And was still hot after a 20min ride home. the 2 older people who run the place were super nice and welcoming. Will definitely be going back next time we want chinese

Phenomenal beef lomein! Cooked to perfection not overly saucy, beef proportionate to noodles and they use actual steak strips!!

I LOVE THEM. We got a large takeout order this evening and didn’t realize until we got home that we were missing our boneless ribs. We had plenty of food already and didn’t want to go back out, so we just let it go. But within 5 minutes of us getting home, they called us and offered to deliver it to our house!! Not only that - they threw in two free drinks and some egg rolls!!! The owners are always so kind, and the food never disappoints. We love Golden City!!!

I ordered delivery. Spent $40 on house fried rice. Sweet and sour chicken and a spring roll. And let me tell you the rice was like mush. It was so over cooked. My kids refused to eat it. And that says a lot. As my teen boy eats everything that crosses his path. I called to explain and the lady refused to take what I was saying to her. Just kept repeating that it was fine and meant to be like that. Then told me to bring it to her so she could see the food. My car is in the shop. If I had my car this would be the last place I would ever go. I explained my car was in the shop and I would have it back tomorrow thats why we ordered delivery. She then proceeded to tell me to bring it in tomorrow so she could look at it. My kids are now eating Raman after spending $40 on mush. I will never go back nor suggest this place to anyone
