Sam's Italian Foods-Bakery Store

Today I ordered a Cobb salad and they asked if there were any in the fridge by the sodas. I said no unfortunately there isn’t the woman working said ok no problem I’ll make one right up for you. She didn’t sigh or act frustrated that she had to now make a salad. I’ve come to this location in the past and never have I had an issue. This location has good friendly staff. And the food here is made the way it would be every time.

My expensive "chef salad" didn't even have half a piece of cheese nor half a slice of ham and turkey. An absolute ripoff!

don't get me wrong they have amazing food at the augusta location but the woman who was managing the place (melissa) is absolutely absurd. the amount of attitude not only I received but also an employee working was absolutely ridiculous. She berated this poor girl in front of customers and I'm honestly surprised you're able to keep any employees at that location just based on the 10 minute interaction I saw today. and this wasn't the first time. I'd say a new manager needs to happen.

Great place! Always kind and the pizza is delicious!

Biersen is a nice guy who took our order and made our food. He was very informative and is a clean store. Will definitely stop in again when out this way.

My husband and I just had lunch at the Sam’s Italian Restaurant in Augusta, Maine. The cranberry almond chicken salad sandwich was excellent, and I had to save half of it for later because it was so huge. My husband had the chicken parmigiana sandwich and he said it was the best he ever had. Kind, friendly employees. The place was nice and clean. Glad we found this restaurant. We will definitely be back soon.

Prices have skyrocketed. Changed their coupon policies. service is slow. tables are always dirty. Lower quality items.

Like this place so much I got a job there. 21 years. Retired 4 year ago and still go back when I get a chance!

This was On my sandwich how could someone put rotten tomato on a sandwich and not realize it if I could rate zero I would I’m so disgusted!

Over priced

I went to the main st Lewiston location, the two wan in there working were awesome. The service was precise, professional and made me an excellent sandwich. Her knowledge and pride of the local area was a pleasant addition to my lunch and frankly my week.

I am appalled. I went to the website menu, saw meat sauce listed: side, pint, quart………$2.60. I ordered two quarts. They were over $12 each!!! Who in the world pay over $12 for sauce!! Not me ever again. False advertising. I am furious! Two meat sauce, one Alfredo sauce, two garlic bread and a tiny a$$ pizza was over $54! ?

Thought I order sandwich on way home from and get told at 9pm register is closed so we can’t order unless we use a card if ur running a store u should not be closing a register before closing not everyone has a card.
