Well, the hot dogs are red - red snappers. On Wednesday, the steamed version is $1.95 each and is a good deal. If you want them grilled (which I prefer), that's extra. You get a plain old hotdog with your choice of mustard, catsup, onions and relish. The bun is kinda steamed. Fries and onion rings are available but neither stand out. My onion rings were actually cold. They have a pretty good selection of other fast foods (hamburgers, lobster rolls, soup, chili, etc.). I haven't tried any of those yet but folks seem to like them. Seating is somewhat limited but service is fast and friendly. If you are in the mood tor a Maine Red Snapper, go here. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

Went here for lunch after many years. And for once it wasn't for Red Snappers. My Wife and I ordered a cheese steak and it was really good. It came quickly Erich was appreciated due to the fact my Wife couldn't make up her mind for lunch. For me; this has always been a childhood favorite. Didn't realize what I was missing for so many years until today. Thank you Simon's we will be back soon.

We reviewed Simones' and wanted to visit/eat at here since it has been open since 1908. The food was very good - hot dog with sauerkraut, hamburger and chili fries. The prices reasonable and the customer service excellent and friendly. We purchased carrot cake on our way out which was delicious. We would definitely stop here and eat again if we were back visiting Lewiston and Maine.
