The pastries were delicious but We ordered a Ricotta pie to pick up in a couple day's, we did, got it home and was very disappointed with it, it was very dry and crumbling, like it was over cooked slightly. A $20.00 disappointment.

Best bakery in Maine!! It's so hard to choose just a couple of favorite pastries. Everything is so good and fairly priced. The customer service is always fast and super nice. You can order ahead and request special items in advance. I highly recommend this bakery for all your sweet tooth cravings. Fresh breads, too.

I feel as though the Italian Bakery needs no further reviews as anyone who has ever had food from there, can attest, to how AMAZING it is.... However, here I am! I have had pastries, breakfast pizza, bread, etc. from the IB, and honestly, this place CANT BE BEAT. Prices are fair and affordable, the food is delicious. Please do not ever leave us!
I stopped going there for quite a while as the service there has become substandard. The young women there were not friendly and rarely smiled so I stopped going in. It's usually a very busy place and I can understand how they get overwhelmed and harried. Today I was driving by and decided to stop in because I miss their tiramisu, which is the Best. It was the middle of the afternoon and not busy. The young woman who waited on me had a big friendly smile and was very pleasant to deal with. It was so nice to see great service there again!!!

The staff has been exceptionally rude and unpleasant every time I have gone there. So much so that I won’t be going back and will spend my money at Grants. It’s unfortunate because they have wonderful treats! Such a shame…..
