Best seafood in town.
My roommate, two son's, and myself just had dinner at webster St diner and it was absolutely fantastic as always. my son had a fried shrimp dinner, room mate had the seafood platter and my other son and I both had cheeseburgers and fries! every single thing was just absolutely incredible and if u live in the area or are passing through, this is the place to go. the portions are def always enough to fill u up and the food is so reasonably priced and the service is always fast and they're always so kind.
The food was really good.
But I have a difficult time with the general public having their hands in the self serve eating utensils.
This is a huge hygiene no no!
I would gladly entertain returning if the eating utensils were individually wrapped.
Also didn’t get to see my bill as they take your money at the cash. I supposed I could have asked.
When you go in you take a menu and then decide what you want at the cash. Then you go get your own coffee, utensils and sit at a table of your choice. They do bring your food to you.
For all the self serve work I did, the prices could have been a bit less.
If you like this style of eating it’s not a bad place!
Breakfast sandwiches are always greasy and have untoasted soggy muffins. Also the breakfast pizza is super bland.
Webster St is a great place to have lunch or dinner. Always quiet, good tastes great and staff are always so friendly and accommodating! Love this place 😁
Love this place! Awesome food and great people! I recommend it to all my Friends and Family.
W place to eat
Finally had the chance to check this place out and it didn't disappoint. Great fried clams, haddock sandwich, steak sub, chicken parm sub and chicken tenders. 5 of us n not one complaint .
Classic Maine convenience store with "General Store" vibes. They have an in-house kitchen and dining area, I can't comment on that as I've only ordered my food to go. They charge reasonable prices for a sandwich, and their sandwiches are above average in my experience.
The rest of the store has some general selection of goods, baked goods, sodas, etc. They also have a table for local crafts which is great for stocking stuffers!

This is hometown, USA. Order, pour your own coffee, have a seat, and relax. The housemade corned beef hash is exceptional!

Ordered steak and cheese, got there 10 minutes later and it was ready. Not bad considering the place was crowded. Bread was fresh, steak wasn't stringy or fatty.

I really wanted to like Webster Street Convenience, but after some bad experiences, I'm not returning. They have had limited hours (which may have changed now, but I'm not going back to find out) which made it hard to be a customer--when I finally was able to go on a weekday, the breakfast takeout was decent overall and the corned beef hash sandwich was especially good, so I decided to return when I had a weekday off again. I attempted to order seafood, and they were out of everything. I tried again on a different day--same story. After a third try, I was able to get my order, and it was soggy by the time I got it home. I let a few months pass, and I called to order the has breakfast sandwich again--the person answering the phone hung up on me without replying. I called back assuming we were disconnected. When I began to order the sandwich I was cut off abruptly with a loud, rude "NO WE DON'T MAKE BREAKFAST PAST 11." Huh? I never saw that anywhere, but I guess I just missed the memo. I tried ordering something else and I was cut off again: "NO, WE'RE SOLD OUT." I attempted to order a third item. "NO" was all I was told. I finally just hung up. I live really close by and I was initially excited to have a decent small business to go to for food. I'm tired of trying to give this place my money. I'd give their service 0 stars if I could. Good luck if you try it.

I placed my first order from Webster St convenience and diner after seeing how good their seafood dinners looked on their facebook page. I ordered 2 haddock dinners for my boyfriend and I and was so excited to get home and enjoy our dinners. We were both very disappointed with our meals. The french fries were mostly burnt and the haddock was overcooked and dry. I wish I had taken pics but I was so upset and just threw it in the trash. The only good thing in the meal was the dinner roll. My boyfriend was not happy at all with what we got after spending $30. The boxes they put the food in were so damp from the way the food was packaged. There is no ventilation in the boxes for the steam to escape and they were placed in a tied plastic bag. Not good. Such a disappointment and a waste of money.
