The food is exceptional. All of it. The staff is fantastic and fun. You just can't go wrong stopping at Lori's on the way to the mid coast.

A great local diner experience! Delicious for both breakfast and lunch. Very kind staff and chatty local patrons contribute to the welcoming atmosphere. Came here most recently after a short hike in Liberty and got the chicken basket (incredible selection of fry types and side options) - it really hit the spot!

Unassuming roadside cafe on the outside, make sure you order from the specials menu on the inside. Generous portions, flaky crusts, delicious meal, and no sticker shock at the end of the meal. 3 generations work here, all because they enjoy it. Either get some pie for dessert or stop next door for ice cream made on the premises.

A quintessential diner experience, Lori’s cafe is so good that you need to come back several times. The morning service crew is lively, humorous, and outgoing. There’s a satisfying bacon egg and cheese (housemade)donut-sandwich, the pancakes are great, and their sausage gravy is different than what I’ve had elsewhere. They make many pies, cakes, and donuts daily, and I loved the blueberry crumble that I ordered! For the couple evenings they’re open for dinner, I tried the prime rib, lobstah roll, and lobster-haddock chowder with grilled cornbread. All exquisite, especially for the price point! Cash only heads up, they do have an atm in the entrance though so there’s no excuse to miss out and not give Lori’s a try!

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast twice while staying in the area and everything was delicious! We both got something different each time and you really can’t go wrong with anything you choose. It’s a nice, cozy atmosphere with super kind folks!

The place hates men and makes mistakes in favor of the restuarant on the bill
