“Come to Maine to visit daughters family in Montville twice a year. John's Ice Cream is the best I have ever had anywhere. Can't believe one person gave a bad review and said ice cream had no flavor to it. Haven't heard one person give a bad review. Must be something wrong with them.”
“Family and I stopped here in search of U-Pick blueberries on route to Acadia. Despite being toward end of season, Sweet Season Farm delivered outstandingly.
Location is a bit off the beaten path, but very much worth the peaceful drive and promise of separation from all too common summer crowds and vacationers. As others have said, the establishment owners are warm and pleasant folk. The picking area is an acre or two but boasted many rows of well tended bushes and a bounty of fruit. After 8 pounds harvested between four adults and two kids, we all settled for some tasty iced cream and said farewell.
All in all I could not have asked for a better experience. And we had it all to ourselves!”
“Bray Brook Farm has the best ice cream around!”
“This was hands down one of the best dining experiences we have had. Fortunately we were second in line at opening so we got to order quickly. The ambience was great and really set the mood. The food runners were very machine like (in a good way). There was a certain artistry the way that they moved about. The food: I had high expectations and they were exceeded. We ordered everything but the salad for lunch. The best bite of fried chicken I've ever had. Seems like a rice or similar flour was used which gives a nice crunch that wheat flour cannot match. A simple ham and cheese on a baguette was somehow elevated to new levels. Butter makes everything better ya'all and the butter that is used is rich and creamy. A simple scoop of chicken salad was exactly what we needed. No exotic flavors and there didn't need to be. One quibble is the 2 small wedges of bread were not nearly enough for the amount of chicken salad on the plate. The potao basil gashpacho was the only miss for me. I kept thinking that i would lo e to have this heated up. Maybe I'm just not a cold soup person. The berry scone shortcake was a fantastic finish to an exquisite experience. The Lost Kitchen was a great kickoff to our Maine trip but sadly I think that the bar is set too high for the next meals on the trip.”

“We visited this location at about 4 p.m. one young man was working alone and handling the entire operation. It was busy! I was very impressed with how the young man presented himself. Despite how stressful it must have been, we couldn't tell at all; he was cool as a cucumber under pressure. Our order was ready as timely as we could have expected and was just as we ordered. We would have given the young man a raise if we owned the place. We are very pleased and will be back. Kiddos to your worker.”
“Donna Makowski was very kind and patient while helping me with a very complicated heating oil situation for my Mom. We have used Maritime Energy for our own oil and propane needs, as well as service for many years. We appreciate all of you!”
