Drove 2 hours with my family to try this place out. It was totally worth it! The donuts are soft and delicious! The family that runs this place is friendly and hospitable! There's a little bit of seating inside however, when you go to the back there are a bunch of benches and a playground for children. To top it off this is a lakeside property so you get a beautiful scenery to enjoy with your donuts! This place came as a recommendation to me and now I am passing on that recommendation as well, to everyone else that sees this. Come out to Limerick, Maine and visit this gem, you wont regret it!

The honey dew donut is the best donut I have ever had in my entire life. It is tender and moist and melts in your mouth. I would recommend this donut to anyone in a 2 hour radius of Limerick; it is for sure worth the drive. I only wish the donut quality was always consistent. On some days, the donut is just a good donut. On other days, this donut could single-handedly bring a dying man back to life, it’s that good.

I used to go to the dough boy all the time Years ago. I haven’t been able to go for a few years. Well, I don’t know what they’ve done to their recipe but these were by far the worst donuts I have ever had in my life they’re not even a full doughnut size either. They’re like Mini donuts. The taste was horrible. I literally spit some out in the trash! bought a dozen three were eaten the rest went in the trash! What a waste of money I don’t know what happened to the recipe, but these were almost undercooked And the flavor just didn’t taste like a doughnut. These donuts used to be out of this world, especially when they were in the old location. This new location, which has been an And the flavor just didn’t taste like a doughnut.
