Paddled over here on the lake with my son for doughnuts. So good! We got there around 10am and almost all the doughnuts were sold out. We bought a half dozen and they were melt in your mouth delicious. Outdoors picnic tables on the lake, small playground and did I mention you can kayak right up to the place?
I don't know about other people's experiences, but when we stopped here for some food, we were very impressed. Between the two of us, we had a haddock sandwich, lobster roll, potato salad, crunchy fries mmm mmm good . That haddock sandwich, though, was just what I needed. It was reallllly good. Not many places to sit - maybe that's because it had rained, though. Next time we visit family in Maine, we will go here again.

I like this place to get my donuts in the morning, an ice cream on a hot day, or seafood at a reasonable price. I want to point out that the people working here are kind, over the top gracious, and even stayed open a bit longer as they were closing up to prepare a couple of lobster rolls for my son and his girlfriend visiting from California.
