While it was the last day, severely overcooking our seafood meal was unacceptable. By the time our food came out, we could hear the girl at the counter telling all the other customers everything that they had run out of, So I knew it was pointless to complain about our very overcooked fisherman's platter. The shrimp were smaller than the size of a nickel and the clams were nothing but crunchy remnants of what they could have been. They seriously need to look at their Cooks for next year's season. We wasted $60 on a meal that the girl at the counter bragged about the size of the portion we were to receive.

We were told how great this place was and decided to go. Ordered scallops and clams and my friend ordered haddock and scallops. When we opened the box we couldn't believe how tiny our orders were. Had maybe 4 scallops cut in half and maybe 10 small clams. Very disappointed being a distributor of seafood. 27 dollars for each meal was a ripoff. Don't waste your time and money going there.

We stopped here at 6:30 pm and they close at 7. We waited in line to place our order, and at the window we were asked if we had ordered already. We said no and was then told that it would be at least an hour by the time we got food and they close at 7. What kind of service is that? You're still open for business but turned us away because you close at 7? Quite disappointed.

the food was amazing. although I would recommend sharing as the portions are huge. my group of 5 girls were beastly hungry and we couldn't even down all of it. we ordered the haddock fish and chips and fried shrimp.
now... the service. I've mulled this one over and over in my mind. the wait was 45 min. we were pre warned. not sure if the 45 min was due to the amount of orders, lack of adequate employees, or what.

The staff here is so very kind and helpful with the prices!! The food is top shelf as well. Highly recommend to stop by on you way to Lubec or Campobello!

Shore Thing is a sure thing. Stayed in Lubec 2 nights (June 2024); haddock chowder & lobster roll for takeaway dinner last night, lobster roll again today for lunch. Staff are friendly & seafood tastes great.
