A hidden gem! Warm and welcoming
Had the pleasure of picking up a bottle of Bailey's Mistake and Quoddy Head Red Ale for an icy overnight stay at nearby West Quoddy Head Light. My wife and I stopped in the next day and got the Spruce Beer and Water Street Altbier. Never come across a modern brewery that made spruce beer so I jumped on that opportunity. Was as delicious as it sounds, and it's fitting for the spruce/fir-heavy forests that characterize the area. On that note, I appreciated how much local history/lore goes into the names of the brews. Will be stopping back next time we're in the area!
Stellar micro brewery, staff and location.
I’m going to help you and the brewery out- they have NO food here, as of Covid 2020. When we visited today they explained they don’t know how to change the reviews on Google, and, sure enough, ourselves and probably 4-5 other couples stopped in while we were there looking for food. They do allow you grab food from somewhere close by and eat it there, but in mid October, the selections were very limited. Limited beer options too at the end of the season.
Great beer, friendly people, and awesome vibe.
Excellent local vibe. Nice inside seating both at tables, and in a living room format. Outdoor seating good, but no shade. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We went on a Saturday afternoon, and a local band was playing. Great turnout of locals, all ages. Appears to be dog friendly.
One of my very favorite towns and breweries Great people. And beer!
The beer is delicious, the space is very welcoming, and the staff are fantastic.
Always feel at home. Nice folks
The red ale is my favorite

Homey atmosphere and hospitable staff. Beers are all pretty good. You can get food at local places and eat in the side room. This seemed to be the busiest place in Lubec when I went. If you're lucky, you'll catch some live music in the main bar.
Great beers, great bartenders and a great atmosphere. What more could you want!?
Good beer, great atmosphere!! Very dog friendly
Great brewery in a great town. Inside and outside seating. Dogs welcome in or outside.
The IPA was delicious. Small town brewery with very nice owners. The service was excellent and they make you feel like a local.
