Went in for food and drink. Sat for a few minutes with barely a soul in the place. No one said hi, be with you in a minute or anything. Ended up leaving.

We were looking for a place to stop and we finally found this. Doesn't look like much from the outside but it is certainly interesting inside with all the stuff on the walls. Loved the guitars on the one wall, of course. Seems like more of a local pub/watering hole but we were there in the afternoon and it was pretty quiet. Typical fare for a place like this but the staff were friendly and it was comfortable and very relaxed. We had the all day breakfast and the Moose Burger (needed a break from all the seafood honestly). Our food was prepared quickly and was excellent. Everything was prepared just to our liking and fresh. Our sever was great too. Recommend stopping here for sure.

Best Haddock burger that I've found yet from Ellsworth to Eastport. Excellent fries. My sample of my wife's burger was also very good. Sometimes slow service and understaffed but after 3 visits over the past 2 years, it's my go-to for a good Haddock burger. IPA's on tap is a definite plus. ?

I am giving two stars. The first experience I had here was when I moved to Machias for college, and it was wonderful. I sat in and ate. The second time, I got take out. I paid a LOT for my meal, like way overpriced, and it was burnt and dry. It also was UPSIDE DOWN in the takeout container in the bag…. That was NOT okay. It made all of the food go everywhere and it was hard to enjoy it. The atmosphere also isnt welcoming like you walk in and its not attentive. I understand places are understaffed etc but the customer service is by far lacking. Also I understand it is a bar but college girls please be careful around this area some of the people have been specifically creepy and hit on me as a barely adult. One of them got mad i wouldnt have a drink with them. Im not of age at all. Wont be going back.

Hopped out of the vehicle looking forward to some libations and down east fare. Upon walking to the front entrance the bartender had an expression as if she ate a rancid roach followed with a shot of sour milk . Decided to kill with kindness. Beef stew was rancid bartender coughed into her hand and handled our food and silverware. Kindness killing had no effect on service what so ever.

Moved here a few months ago and hadn't tried this place yet. My husband and I finally decided we would go and check it out. The waitress/bartender was nice, but clearly has an attention issue. Was repeatedly busy talking with friends (?) while I waited. Maybe I should have yelled. But it wasn't loud. We ordered fish and chips and fried chicken. The chicken was ice cold in the middle. She asked if I wanted it put back in the fryer for a few minutes. Thinking that was really unsanitary, I just asked her to microwave it. She literally came back in less than a minute. Still cold. Playing pool was a nice break. I don't understand why they keep the cue balls behind the bar, but it didn't bother me too much. Bothered the waitress a bit when I brought the ball back. I disturbed her again. On a plus side, my husband said his beer was good.

Ordered chicken wings per waitress recommended and frys she ask us if we wanted a full order and jalapeño poppers coke and ice tea chicken was like shoe leather and dry with garlic pepper! 37.55 frys where 7.50 sucked !!

A HUGE place. Traveled in from PA. for a college tour. Had dinner here. Felt like an intruder from the moment we walked in. Only 3 locals sitting at the bar despite it being a weeknight at 7pm & only 1 other place open for dinner. Clam strips tasted fishy, burger was cheap tasting beef. Even had an earwig try to crawl onto me - eww.
