I've been going to Al's off andon for 30 years now, it's a northern Maine landmark. The current iteration is as good as any of them. Good food, served quickly at a reasonable price. I particularly like that they're open on Sundays, driving south on a Sunday there is pretty much nothing but fast food from Presque Isle to Old Town.
I absolutely love this place and I can't wait to go back and try it again which we will do on our way home. I had shepherd's pie my partner had a burger it was enormous and delicious and the fries were cooked as requested the shepherd's pie was very good it was a cute little diner. We will definitely go here again.
Some of the best food in the county! We’re from CT and visit annually and Al’s diner is a frequent stop while visiting! Nothing compares! Best poutine, sweet waitresses, amazing desserts, awesome seafood. 5/5!
