First time in the bakery. Got some donuts, they are fantastic!

Good but not great. Enjoyed grilled salmon but nothing exceptional overall. Better places to eat in the area.

Everything is just sooooo yummy! Highly recommend! If you haven’t tried this cozy place you definitely should!

The Rusty Crab is a very clean restaurant with reasonable prices for clams, scallops, burgers and more. Waitress from friendly and we were served quickly. Enjoy.

I can't believe more folks haven't reviewed this perfect County breakfast/donut shop. 1st of all BEC on fat sliced homemade bread? Yes please! Donuts, that are so fresh and good they last 3-4 days at home? Sign me up. If your headed downstate or upstate on Rte 1 anytime they are open, be hungry and stop. Or just grab a donut and coffee.. hey you do you..but don't miss this place.

Wednesday was the second time we have received substandard food and no one seems to care! Our waitress said she was sorry, but no one came out to see what was wrong, and we ended up paying for my meal which was inedible. Perhaps they got “too big, too soon”. In any event, we will not return and cannot recommend this place to friends!

This place has the BEST breakfast sandwiches around! Always a smiling face when you walk in, the steak egg and cheese on a croissant is to die for!!

This is week 3 since opening. I thought I would give them a few weeks before dining there because I heard that they were having problems with service and just plain being organized. Everyone I talked to said the food was good. Arrived at 5:45 as a party of 6 and received a menu immediately. The waitress took a drink order which arrived a few minutes later. So far, so good. She then took our orders at 6:05. We ordered a couple appetizers and our main courses. 45 minutes later our appetizers came out. At 7:10 our main courses came out, but one was missing. It was never started so that person had to wait 15 minutes while they cooked her meal. The waitress apologized and was genuine. The meals come with coleslaw but there was none. So we waited for that. And we asked for ketchup for our fries. We waited a good 5 minutes for that. The food was getting cold as we waited for condiments. So we were pretty much finished when the last entree came out and waited for her to finish. The food is good although the fries were kind of soggy. It was painful for all of us to watch the waitresses interact with what had to be pandemonium in the kitchen. The place is new and the staff is super friendly. They may want to ditch some of the old things that worked at the old takeout stand. Get ketchup, mustard bottles and put these on the tables. Waitresses wouldn’t have to worry about that anymore. Paper cups would also be acceptable. A plastic basket with wax paper would be more than ample to serve 80% of the products I saw on the menu. That would free up a person from dishwashing duties and maybe help with other duties in the kitchen. There also seems to be a disfunction with receiving orders and properly processing them to get the food out quickly. Like I said in the title, this place could have easily been 5 stars because the food is good and the staff is super friendly. But they better get their act together doing this or they’ll start losing clientele. I will be back but I’m going to wait a month before trying them again. I do want them to succeed.
