Excellent food and ambience - Loved it!! We went 3 times in 2 days and what drew us back was the fried pickles. They are EXCELLENT!! Also liked my meatball sub. Definitely a must do place to hit in Millinocket - get the pickles!
We pulled in with 17 people on motorcycles on a state of Maine 4 corners ride, Sawmill took us in, seated us, great service, everyone enjoyed their food! We were back on the road within an hour,, kudos to this restaurant!
I finally got to try this place for the first time and I was amazed. It's a quaint little "hole-in-the-wall" dive on your way to Baxter State Park. The inside was decorated with old tools that were used in the saw mills way back in the day. The ladies were so friendly and accommodating. The food was AMAZING! The burger was beautifully juicy and the buns were toasted nicely to balance the burger and these are by far some of THE best tasting fries I've had in...
