The Hubby and I have decided to eat at some new to us restaurants across Maine this year!
Our first stop was Sçootic In Restaurant in Millinocket!!
It didn't disappoint!!
He had blackened scallops over rice pilaf!! Simply delish!!
I had scallops and tater skins. Very good as well. I; personally thought the skins still had a little too much tater; but they were topped and cooked perfectly!!
Great job Sçootic In!! We'll be back one day!!

I find it expensive for the quality & quantity of food. The service is decent, depending upon who is working. The atmosphere is ok but nothing to write home about.

After a long day of vending, we needed to grab some food before heading home. Scootic came up in a quick web search, so here we are. We were seated immediately, and the staff was friendly and professional. we ordered a pizza, which is quite delicious... the sauce, the crust... fantastic. 👍👍

I get dinner here at least one night every time I visit Millinocket. It's the perfect place after a strenuous hike - they serve generous portions of comfort food. Sometimes quantity is a trade-off for quality, but this place does both - everything is always delicious.

Most recently, I got a taco salad and my wife got a burger and both were great. The taco salad was massive and one of the best I've had. The potato skins were also excellent!

Easily one of the best restaurants in the area. You may note that there are very few restaurants in the area, so that's not exactly a ringing endorsement. However, if the Scootic were in my area where it's much more competitive, I still think they'd have a great following.

Great pizza. We walked in 20 minutes to closing after leaving BSP and realizing that there was absolutely nothing open. They were kind and allowed us to order a pizza to go. Not a bad price either for the quality and size.

Great hole in the wall for visitors to Millinocket!

This spot offers cozy hometown diner vibes along with excellent service. Elina is such a sweetheart!! Fresh seafood, reasonable prices, and great portion size.

We’ll likely be back before we head back home!

The waitress was nice and took our order promptly and then we waited 45 minutes. When the food arrived, the fries were cold, the hamburger i had was just a glob of tomatoes, pickles, onions and a warm burger not hot. One of my kid got a burger, same temp and no condiments on it and my wife had a sandwich was good but again cold fries. The bill $55 and a $5 tip, id have to say this is a NO for me

I was hoping for a quaint little restaurant but it was more like a cafeteria the food was okay the service was better than the food and the atmosphere was a little bit too bright for me but it was a good place to stop if you really needed to get a bite to eat the town's adorable
