This may have been the best meal of my life. A wonderful birthday dinner. It started off at excellent and each course surpassed the previous. All this and it never felt pretentious. Can’t swing this often, but hoping for another birthday surprise down the road. 😊 If you’re on the fence about going, do yourself a favor and get the hell off the fence and make the reservation. And for the record, the company I had was just a wonderful as the meal. Hope you have the same good fortune.

The Quarry is a great and unexpected addition to Monson! All 6 courses were delicious, well balanced, and perfectly filling. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Despite being a small restaurant, all of the tables were very spaced out, creating a relaxed ambience that is easy to settle into for a long meal. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting central Maine

We were excited to return to The Quarry for a second meal, but left quite disappointed. The service was borderline poor - our server struggled to answer basic questions about the menu, and frankly didn't communicate well about some of the substitutions we had to request. We also waited an extraordinarily long time to get our check - our server just disappeared. The food was ok - several dishes appeared to have been put together in a rush, and elements were missing. The cocktails were lacking the finesse we expect given the caliber of the restaurant, and the staff knowledge about the wine list was significantly lacking - we ended up just looking up options on our phone. It was also so loud on the porch that we couldn't carry on a conversation. I understand guests wanting to have a good time - and they should. But we couldn't hear each other across the table from each other... It was frustrating and disappointing. I understand that staffing a restaurant at this level in this location has got to be tough, and I appreciate what they're trying to do. I hope that our next visit will be better.

There's nothing I can say other than this restaurant is amazing. The entire experience was over the expectations. The chef and her staff are so attentive and nice. I can't wait to be back.
We went to this restaurant with a large group of friends. I will say the food was very good and overall we had a good time. We sat in the patio area and the view was wonderful but it is a small room so it can get loud. We had a lady behind us who was complaining about our group being loud and making mean faces at us. We were trying not to be loud but thats very difficult with a small room, where things echo. We did not let this rude lady ruin our meal but its something to think about. The other thing I think they can improve is the drink menu. The cocktails were not on par with the food. The drinks were not very good at all, that is a bummer when your at a fine dining restaurant. Improving the cocktails would improve the overall experience. The chef was very nice and came to say hi and very personable.

Just a tremendous experience for a gourmet dining night out. Very unexpected find in that part of Maine! Absolutely exquisite food and wine pairings in a Prix fixe format 5 course dinner. Many unexpected extras and visits from the owner and head chef Marilou. Great food, great energy, a great time.
