We had a great experience at the Lobster House last night! We did not have a reservation ( “reservations recommended” is clearly posted at the door, so we will remember this for next time).
The hostess did not turn us away- instead she asked if we would mind sitting at the bar.
We ran into Popham neighbors, including the bartender, who we had not seen since he was a little boy! Then we got to chat with a nice young couple visiting from NY. Oh, and the food was great...read full review
Lobster House offers a delightful dining experience. The menu boasts a variety of options, including the popular "Steak Bomb" sandwich, which is not to be missed. The beer menu is also impressive. The ambiance is great, making it a perfect spot for a cold winter day or a beautiful summer day by the lake. The service is excellent, and the food is delicious. The mushroom ravioli and pot roast are highly recommended. Be prepared for a wait, but it's well worth it.
