the man ( who i can only assume is the owner and the woman( manager?) to whom he was speaking behind the counter didn't bother to speak to any of the patrons in the store. The staff was unfriendly and rude. The store was NOT busy ( 5 patrons total) so it wasn't due to that. Completely disappointing and not a good look for, as I overheard him say, " up and coming" Monson or the Moosehead Lake Region. I will not go back.

Monson General Scoops is a cute shop with a deli in the back. Friendly staff greet customers and offer generous sized deli sandwiches, including gluten free options, at reasonable prices. The cannolis are so good, and the chocolate ice cream is praised as world’s best. Fresh baked cookies and brownies sit near the register, and a variety of snacks, gifty items, and basic staples are available. Seating includes a 2-top and a 4-top, and the overall service is friendly and polite.
