The Lakeshore House - Lodge & Pub

Decidedly local, this hotspot has indoor and outdoor seating, full bar, and great service. This place sits on the side of the lake, which is enjoyable from inside as well as outside. We even sat on the dock, and they served us out there - sunset on the lake - pretty awesome. The food was good and the specials were excellent. I went with the lobster roll - my first one - and it was great. It won’t be my last for sure. This was a top spot in Monson - highly recommend - with live music on the weekends.

The meet and greet was the normal and a warm welcome! Music was not loud and nice view but for me if I cant hear myself think cuz of loud mouth power drinkers in a bar I'm out.. I had 8 of us showing up but decided to pass its not a library but have common sense and tell loud mouths to chill a few decibals

Wonderful food!!!

We stopped here for lunch while out riding our ATVs, the staff of super friendly, and the food was super good as well! Atmosphere was nice! They have an area where you can eat outside! My fiancé got the seafood and loved it! I would definitely recommend this place to eat!

The food was decent, however, the waitress seemed to have not realized my partner was sitting right next to me the entire time. She kept ignoring her several times, and even “forgot” to put her food order in. Not really interested in small town bigotry, so it’s unfortunate this is one of few places to eat at on a Wednesday in Monson. I will not be recommending this place to other travelers and hikers.

Not sure if it the practice at this restaurant, but to have the waitress follow my family and I out of the restaurant complaining about me not leaving her a bigger tip. Is unbelievably the most humiliating an rudest thing ever. Times are hard now a days for all. Don’t corner your customers in the parking lot to get a bigger tip.

Having the waitress follow me and my family to the care to complain and be rude about not getting a big enough tip. Is absolutely the most embarrassing and disrespectful thing I have ever experienced. If this is how the staff does business I would NEVER recommend it to anyone.

Stopped for lunch on my way home from a fishing trip to the Northern Maine woods.
