Great small town vibes

Great experience over all at the Lakeshore inn. This is a hostel with a pub/restaurant on first floor. The service was exceptional. The owner Nick checked in on me a few times to make sure I was good after hiking. The food delicious (I had the fried haddock), the rooms are a good value for what you get . A bed in a shared room with shared bath. The hostel has a lived in feel. I definitely would stay again.

Didn't sleep here. Went for the food, Twice. Food and service is amazing. Live band and open mic. Needed some home town vibe.

Had dinner only

We ate in the bar for dinner! We wanted lobster rolls, that is what Maine is famous for! We saw the lobster rolls were made with mayo not melted butter! Our waitress said she can do it with butter. We were excited! When it came it was in a small hot dog roll with a large bed of lettuce very little melted butter. The lobster had not flavor! We felt it might of been frozen! We were very disappointed and will never go back!!

Extremely small and expensive for what we got.

The seafood cannot be beat! Best fried clams, and seafood combo I have had anywhere! And, being from the coast, that says a lot! Our favorite place to sit on the water and enjoy. Thank you Jessica for outstanding service. Never a bad meal and we frequent a lot

Great upscale pub food, friendly service. Great location right on the lake.

We didn't get one of the balcony rooms with a view. Reserve early and get one of them, they'd get 5 stars. The couple that owns and run the place are great.

Wonderful food and staff, and beautiful setting! Chef Nick prepares Italian and other specialties expertly, and love the fun and friendly staff. Such a special and great place!

Had take out dinner. Great vegan-veggie wrap and garden salad.

Great hometown restaurant. Food is really good and the service is exceptional. Add to the live misic and the fact you can pull your boat up to the outside patio makes this a must try! Launch your boat at the public dock . Take a cruise around lake Hebron and finish it off with dinner drinks and live music. What more can you ask for??

We didn't stay overnight there but the bar/restaurant was amazing. We were staying in Abbott but made this location a staple. Great food and service. Nice view on the deck but comfortable inside as well. The people there were so friendly and helpful. The chef even came out and talked to us one evening when most of the seafood was fried and offered to bake some haddock for us instead of deep frying. They had good beers on tap and in bottles and cans that offered a great variety. I definitely recommend while in the area to stop in and check it out. If you are an AT hiker this could be a nice spot for a good rest and meal before hitting the 100 miles.
