Front desk terrible. Couldn't find my reservation - acted like they couldn't be bothered to try even though I showed her the confirmation. They weren't even that busy. Service to get the popovers great. Although they were inconsistent - 2 were great and 2 were small and wet, partially cooked through. The scenery was nice. Shared a table with some nice people.
We stopped by during our visit to the Acadia National Park a few weeks ago. The place was crowded but we had reservations and were whisked directly to a table after being stuck behind a Karen who did not know what reservation meant and held the line up.
The service was prompt and it was very pretty outside where we were seated. Got to talking and did not take photos of the food or anything. The wife had a lobster, again, while I tried something different: A lobster roll....

One of my favorite meals during my visit to Maine. Had reservations for dinner on the last day of the season 10/26. And although the menu was extremely limited and we were the absolute last table being served, it did not affect the level of service and quality of meal.
