Quaint, rustic, a lot of character! Family friendly, high morale behind the counter. Presentation of the bakery case is artistic and tasteful. Beautiful natural lighting throughout. The food and drinks were made well and with care. The price of the goods they provide match the quality. Definitely worth every cent. Try it out!

A loverly place with faboulous bread, short-bread and sheet-cake variations as well as wonderful breakfast options. Right at a small lake. We enjoyed both, indoor and outdoor option. I should have put this review up about a year ago, this place is such a gem, you definitely could drive by it if you didn't hear / know about it, the food was excellent, best coleslaw I ever had, for that matter everything I had was excellent, and the atmosphere was very laid-back with a great view of the water. If your up that way, it's a must stop, you won't regret it.

The lamb burger was excellent. looking forward to having it again. My partner enjoyed the chicken salad roll up. All food came very quickly The woman taking orders seemed to be in the midst of a serious ennui. Lastly, the music was not to our taste and too loud detracting from the overall experience

A place you wouldn't expect in Maine. As a plant-based eater, finding well thought out and great tasting food isn't easy. Here I got that. Also, being European finding great bread anywhere in the US is hard, at Scapes they have sourdough bread to die for😋
